Grimsby v Torquay United – Saturday 13th September 2014
The minor investors/non investors(the majority) on the board with their collective f*cked up decisions over the last 2 seasons want their losses back in quick time.
I may be being a little naïve, or maybe I've missed something down the line, but...Put your 10k each back in you tight b*stards, maybe the gamble of the price of an average 2nd hand car IS worth the gamble!
who is this aimed at in particular?
Who has put in/taken out £10,000 and who are the minor investors/non-investors?

New sponsors?
What is it that you feel is a shame TUFC haven't done?I appreciate your honesty in this and it is nice to see you trying to answer our questions. It's something which I believe is important as a fan of a small club, and it's a shame that TUFC haven't felt the need to do the same.

Boardroom, Who does what?
My understanding is that this is all in hand and is just a case of a suitable date being arranged.Going off on another tack, someone asked Andrew Candy on his thread if a Fans Forum could be arranged with Thea, Chris H and some of the Board members.

Boardroom, Who does what?
I wouldn't dream of giving his name away as he prefers a certain amount of anonymity; each season he puts money into the club in a variety of ways, match sponsorship etc etc. He doesn't live in Exmouth, but has a holiday home here at Sandy Bay caravan park on the outskirts of the town.So this bloke who puts in £5k a year. Is this a donation out of the goodness of his heart? Does he sponsor something?

Boardroom, Who does what?
That is a very 'them and us' attitude. The rest can go out tonight and enjoy their relaxed evening meals digressing about their forthcoming holidays in the sun whilst the most dedicated of fans have to work out if they can afford a caravan in Exmouth once their season ticket has been paid of course.
It would suggest that to be the 'most dedicated of fan fans' requires a low income, and low aspirations when it comes to holidays; whereas the board of directors take holidays abroad that no other supporter of the club is able.
Most odd...
(And as a ps; I live in Exmouth less than a mile from the biggest caravan/holiday park in the area and I haven't, as yet, been in my local and come across one Torquay United supporter who holidays there. Oh hang on, I tell a lie; there is one. But he puts in over £5,000 a year into the club so obviously doesn't count.)

Unfortunately what we didn't have was a fully fit Ling...but I think Scott is right to say that he didn't look a great improvement on what we already had which was a fully fit Ling.

Let's do a Dagenham and get Cobblers down!
It's not the position throughout the season that counts; it's the position at the end of the season. They have been bottom all season and so deserve it
So if Northampton have accrued enough points at the final whistle of the final game to be above the bottom two, then they deserve to retain their league status.

No problem...
Lot of frustration from top to bottom of the club I would imagine.

I wasn't castigating you.
I just think it unfair to cast out such statements about people with no knowledge or proof.
Every member of the board of Plainmoor Ltd put money in of varying amounts and none are likely to see it back, if any. They 'invested' into the club to keep it afloat and running.
Whatever one thinks of the running of the club, it cannot be claimed that any director is in it for financial gain. Quite the opposite; all will take a financial hit of varying degrees.

If you don't know the answer to your own question, then you shouldn't post such rubbish... Of course they have put in their own money. If each board member has put in a load of their own money then I sincerely apologise for my earlier post which would be inaccurate. Is this the case?
Would love to know what their next 'gravy train' might be!

One further question; are you talking about the directors of the club? No, I'm saying that some of them work in a responsible capacity for the football club presumably having not had much if any input of their own financially and when the decisions they have made in unison go wrong and the club goes under then they go and hop on somewhere else and continue the gravy train without suffering any consequences of poor management.
