Bishops Cleeve FC v Torquay United Sat 14 Sept KO 3pm
Well if thats some kind of excuse then its a poor one. Of course Welling lost - the only team they can beat is us. Dorking ,Farnborough and Averly cant beat an egg either.
Funnily enough when Farnborough beat us it was because they were a great side - havnt they gone on a losing run since they beat us.
After the Welling game Wotton was saying how poor we were - well hes the manager so what the **** was he doing all week to produce that shitshow on Saturday then?
Obviously not alot or whatever it was it wasnt good enough. Saturday proved that our first eleven is probably top half of the league. Anything else and we will end up relegation candidates cause our back up players are not up to it.
Bottom of the league on Saturday and we cannot afford not to turn up again. Of course the return of Cooke, Foulston and Haytfield hopefully should improve things but we need two decent loan players mininum, otherwise our good start will be ruined.

Maybe its you who need to calm down. Welling and Bishops Cleeve. Scored 0 conceded 5. Thats pathetic by anyones standards.
Only Hamon and Palmer are part time - everyone else is full time.
You mention our injuries but neglect to mention Dorking, Bath and Welling who could hardly field a team so you can bang on forever and find points to suit your particular point of view. Chesham we struggled against ten men.
Its clear that we have problems. Cooke seems to be the only forward out of the 4 who is decent. Crosbie is nowhere near this level unfortunately. The pace shorn Moxey and Palmer are a disaster at the back together, and are back up players are clearly no good either (Craske, Tomlinson,Collins)
Alot of people paid money to support the team yestreday. Our team being reduced to a laughing stock isnt good enough, sorry.

Oh come on - you cannot dress this up. Its humiliation. Hammered by a park side.
The squad is nowhere near good enough. Seymour and Ash are hopeless. Crosbie is so far out of his depth its untrue. Palmer and Moxey at the back have all the pace of a pair of tortoises.
Doesnt get any worse than this.

So the ref has phoned Wotton and apologised for the error over the disallowed goal.
Infuriating that its cost us 3 points. Blatantly obvious at the time the goal should have stood.

Seymour was at least level when Cooke flicked the ball on. The linesman did not flag until after the ball had entered the net.
Hes obviously given offside because Cooke was standing in an offside position when he recieved the ball.
Law 11 states " a player in an offside position recieving the ball from an opponent, who deliberately plays the ball is not considered to have gained an advantage"
Their player has deliberately played the ball, it has not rebounded off him, the ball has come off his foot as he attempts t control it.
Therefore its a goal - no dispute about it whatsoever. The referee who was in a far better position to see it should have over ruled the linesman. I dont see how anyone can view it as the correct decision. Watch the facebook video of the incident from behind the goal.
Officials got it wrong pure and simple.

Not so sure tactics had anything to do with it,Seen a recording of the disallowed goal.
Its a criminal decision - nothing wrong with it all. That and the two that hit the woodwork - with an ounce of luck we would have been out of sight.
As for having big players - the giraffe they had up front was the worst player I have ever seen (well apart from Roddy Collins)

Wotton didnt think much of it either. What he said was correct though. We were really poor but on another day could have won the game.
Still think it was a lperfectly good goal though.

Agree with all that Collins was absolutely dire and we missed the imposing Hayfield big style.
Yes we should have won - the disallowed goal was ridiculous and we hit the woodwork twice.
For me the Craske substitution turned the game. Surely Mussa should have come on at that stage. We were playing a bloody awful team who hardly had 11 fit players.
Pointless giving Mussa 5 minutes to change the game with Hamon punting the ball over his head. Craske was such a negative change.

New Streaming Deal
They arnt ignoring the rule - it seems that its a policy decision not broadcast south and north games within the window. As the games tare not streamed in the first place it would suggest that its not finacially viable to do so.
You couldnt watch any national league games either within the uefa window as they are not broadcast in this country.
Of course it is easy to navigate tis via the vpm/firestick/iptv method. As has been mentioned should we get promoted it would be possible to view all games hone and away.

Chesham United v Torquay United - VNSL game 5 - 26th August 2024
I dont know why we are concerned with what sides are good and which arnt - its irrelevant really. When we got beat by Farnborough everyone was saying how good they are.
Well they have lost the last two games conceded 6 and scored 1 - they wont be in the top six. Just accept that we lost because we were poor and didnt turn up in the first half. No need to make excuses about how good the opposition were.
Hamon made a mistake today but other than that he has been excellent - he also made a match winning save at 2-2. It was a stunning save and probably won us the match.
I wonder how long it will take Mussa to get fit, He hasnt played many minutes in the last two games but he was blowing out his arse near the end. He is very skilful but hes extremely slow.
