Re: Torquay United v Exeter City - now 15/01/13
Get in! Have we been the better side in the opening 20 mins by the sounds of things then?

Re: The match v Exeter is currently... ON
Will be upset if the game's off as a) it won't be the same on a weeknight and b) its unlikely i'd be able to make it due to being at university.
It all depends how well the pitch covers have held up I guess, but it is forecasted to rain on and off throughout the day. We'll know for sure in an hour.

Re: Plymouth Argyle vs Torquay United
Ideal, we'll be able to create a good atmosphere if we're all grouped together.

All the people willing to sing for the whole game to the back then? We're not going to sit in our allocated ticket seat, are we?!tktufc91 wrote:I think with the atmosphere we are going to create, if we can make it sound like we are the home side, then I have no doubt that we will win this match. Looking forward to this game since we beat them at ours.

Re: Train to Argyle
Railway Inn's by Newton train station mate. By the looks of footballgroundguide.com, there aren't much pubs in the vicinity that accomodate away fans or are just for away fans, so plan is to have a couple of drinks in the pub by Newton rail station then head down. Apparently theres a bar in the ground too so if in the ground early, as is likely, you can drink in there too.dannyrvtufc4life wrote:I will also be heading down on the 11:56 train, although I will be getting on at Torquay (11:28). That train stops at Newton Abbot for 11:39 then leaves for Plymouth at the time already mentioned at 11:56. The Railway Inn as walshy mentioned, is about a mile away from the ground.
Can't wait!

Re: CALLING ALL YELLOW ARMY SINGERS - ARGYLE AWAY!!
Same here nick, at least ten of the 'one game a season' lads from school are coming along and really up for it.NickGull wrote:I'd be disappointed if we don't have 1500 there Brett. Infact, should we do well between now and then, it could get closer to 1800/2000. I already know a few of my mates who don't normally go but are buzzing for this one!
The question is, do we know if the Club are doing it row by row, or do you get a choice? (at back/front/middle etc?)
Doubt people will sit/stand where they're supposed to, when does that ever happen? Take Shrews away in the playoffs for example, we all went where we wanted to and created a much better atmosphere as a result.

Good stuff. I'll purchase one or two. The club should get a little stall going down at coach station and services, selling scarves and flags, etc.
