Re: its almost that time of year again!
haha thanks mate - just won everything in site again in season 2040 and am due to move from the Topp Arena (we left Plainmoor for the all-seater stadium named after TUFC legend and my first signing back in 2010 Willy Topp) to the Lewis Arena in 2042 (named after me!! so proud)

Re: its almost that time of year again!
Had us finishing 2nd on the predictor table with 89 points with Accrington Stanley beating both Shrews and Creepy.
Draw at the weekend and winning our remaining games - heart over head but like it has been said before, this stage of the season when promotion is a real possibility is very exciting!

Re: Barnet v Torquay United - 30/3/12
i remember a different 1-0 in my only visit to underhill - we lost 1-0, we were rubbish and that fat bloke paul robinson missed a penalty right in front of the travelling gulls - rubbish day out

Re: Clubs tracking Robbo
FROM BBC WEBSITE:
1151: THE INSIDER
Preston North End general manager Ben Rhodes: "So far it has been fairly quiet. We are looking to bring a couple in and those players are now undergoing medicals, so that means its just a case of getting paperwork lined up. As we publicised yesterday, we have had a bid accepted for Graham Cummins of Cork City. If this one happens it will mean a lot of work later as its a 'foreign' transfer, so we have to use the Fifa system to transfer him; so at the moment it s a case of getting everything lined up ready to push the 'go' button later!"
Robbo undergoing his medical....?

Re: Car share from Newport to Port Vale 26th November
Hi mate,
I live in Bridgend so could get to Newport/Newport Train Station quite easily...
Haven't 100% decided to go yet though...last trip was Shrewsbury which was an utter waste of time/money...although last one before that was Bristol R which was possibly th greatest gulls match i have ever been too....
I'll be back in touch on this thread once ihav decided if thats ok

Re: Management Styles
Bit off topic but was absolutely amazed to find out that all the tufc players had been given fish and chips after the match from 'flippin fish' not far from the ground. (we went in there around 8pm and the owner who was serving who was at the game told us)
lets reward a shite performance with a treat...brilliant

Re: League 2: Shrewsbury Town vs Torquay United
Anyone else going up by train?
I know that you go past the stadium on the train and think ' oh must be getting off soon...' only to stay on the train for another 5-8 minutes, etc.
Just wondering how people get to the ground? Im guessing Taxi. In which case any fellow Gulls wanna share a cab to keep costs down?
My train gets in at Shrewsbury around 11:50am
