Head of Operations
Have I missed something or has nobody got excited about the club advert for a Head of Operations at a salary of £45-50k?

Bryn Consortium Take-Over
It was indeed a long time ago and there were two separate opportunities over the years for fans to buy shares. Many of them have now passed away so the register of addresses must be a nightmare to update. As I have a (very) small amount of shares I was recently given an opportunity to vote on the 'CVA'. Obviously my tiny fraction of the 7% swung it as the resolution was accepted and here we are today as a result!CornishGull wrote: ↑01 Jun 2024, 16:14 The issue of the 7% of share holdings was decades before the TUST was formed.
These shares are nothing to do with TUST (at the moment) but I think it could be possible for individuals to transfer their (or their forebear's) shares to a common cause such as TUST.

Jon Gibbes Company Secretary
In my excitement I set up the header as Company Secretary but I've just bumped into Jon (at Sainsbury's of all places) and he has confirmed that his job will be Club Secretary which has its own job description. He is upbeat!

Yes, did the Administrator actually mean that or was it repetition of a common error? Perhaps they did mean it!

Jon was in at the start of TUST and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of TU history. He's also a nice guy (and he is or was a Pop-sider).

Well done, I was in the same art classes as him at TBGS and he was always getting top marks. He now has two Oscars and I haven't got any. On reflection, he could have been our own Hollywood connection. Ah well.CornishGull wrote: ↑23 May 2024, 23:54 The cinematographer is Roger Deakins who was born in Torquay.

I'm a happy bunny deep down, and, as I voted for the winning away kit choice, I'll probably wear that to games home or away!
(So far nobody has connected that film with Torquay)

Well, from the number of responses both on this thread and the 'Osborne gone' one, Cowshed has united us so well done I say.

Are you trying a wind up? Who do you think TUST are?
They happen to be a sizeable chunk of fans. No more no less. If you don't trust the fans who do you trust?

Yes, I agree, and I recall Les Lawrence doing the same thing at the same end I think against Bradford City a few decades ago!UnitedinDevon wrote: ↑22 Apr 2024, 14:14 obviously a great goal but certainly meant a lot to AB, i'd be very happy to see him here next season
