Easy top 3 for me:
* Gateshead - feasible away trip by train from West of Scotland - depending on time of year of course!
* Southport - as above
* Welling United - been to Park View Road a few times when my sister lived a few miles away in Bexleyheath. Have looked out for the Wings ever since and would love to be there to see my two favourite southern teams battle it out. Social Club right at the ground. Would I be able to split loyalties and wear shirts of both clubs???
Financial realities mean I won't need to worry too much about that! Hope for a 4-4 draw and a good few beers together for fans of both sides!
Even better if BT Sport show it!

Travel Distances 2014/15
Some horrendous journeys in there, although for those able to afford it, some nice wee weekends away are possible.
Gateshead & Southport are possibles for the Gourock Gulls, being from the opposite end of the country! Fingers crossed those trips aren't in the winter.
£12 bargain basement home top at the ready!

Has it been confirmed there will be a new home kit for next season, which seems likely when the stripes are being flogged off for £12???

Conference 14/15
Looking forward to games with Welling United, who I have looked out for for several years. Decent enough ground and a well run club - after run in with the tax man a few years back.
If Gateshead stay down; that is a possible convenient away trip for the Gourock Gulls B-) Southport also on the radar!

Typical that as Carlisle are relegated to Lge 2 - bummer of a journey for most Gulls but easy foe me - the Gulls also drop making Southport and possibly Gateshead the only possible day trips from Scotland.

Agree with many on here saying it should be navy shorts & socks... but only after viewing HFK is it obvious to me that this would be a clash with the change kit.
There could (and maybe even should) be a bit of mix & match between H & A kits this season.

Re: Morecambe
Warning to anyone thinking of going by train, there is engineering work on the West Coast Main Line at Lancaster, plus the Morecambe Lancaster line is replaced by buses from early afternoon.
Check with the Network Rail site before making any plans.

Hoping to head down there for the game - terrace behind the goal gets my vote! Does anyone know if there's a bar under that stand? 8-]

Re: New home shirt
F gets my vote.
D is awful, C is too (some kind of rugby leage effort), A & B not much better. E is allright, not keen on the shiny pattern. G also acceptable, only problems I have with this are the collar and the fact that Clydebank had a similar kit in the early 90's and pumped by beloved Morton 7-1 whilst wearing it.
Have no problem with allover yellow BTW. Only followed Gulls for a few years so the "retro" appeal of the stripes doesn't apply!

Re: Joey Barton at Fleetwood
The guy is a thug and a liability to whatever team he is at - end of!
I'm surprised this is within the FA rules as it is clearly taking the p1ss, by meaning he sits out 12 games quicker - games in which there was no intention of him playing in anyway.
