Transfer talk.
Tomorrow seems like Christmas morning with seven presents under the tree, I know there will be one or two that I've just wanted but also know that there will be hankies and socks.

New Kit
New home shirt looks exactly what it is, a National league shirt. Last season's kits were all terrific, change for the sake of a few bob.

Playoff Final Vs Hartlepool at Ashton Gate
The only thing that will bring it all back for me is watching Jeff Stelling every Saturday afternoon and no doubt telling us that his team are back in the league.

Playoff Final Vs Hartlepool at Ashton Gate
Well the dust has settled and I accept that the luck was just not with us yesterday, no doubt we had the best team ,if all available, in the league but it is what it is. It's been a very enjoyable season and my thanks to players ,staff and management ,let's be honest we all have experienced seasons we would like to forget.I hope that G J gets the help from the owners to go again.

Torquay vs Notts County (Play Offs) 12/06/2021 Midday KO
Well have to say I chickened out this afternoon as the wife had a dental appointment at the kick off time, went shopping after and at the final time saw we were at 2-2. Put the bbq on and had a beer, red wine and looked again on the I pad and low and behold 4-2.Now full of Cognac and am extremely happy. Is it that G J will be here next season that gives us all great hope !.Fantastic result and well done to all including our owners.

Uncle Clarke ( episode 409)
I am glad that somebody has reconised the owner of our club in that where would we be without him.Sure he has previous but he has stood by his investment and wether gift or loan has put money into to the club for GJ to spend so for all those people who said this was the end of the world for Torquay cut a little slack and give the bloke a little credit

Torquay United v Wealdstone Tuesday 9 Feb KO 19.45
No doubt this I think is a defining game in our season ,we have had a bad few games of late but a win tonight would give us a chance to start another run, build confidence back up and tell the rest of the league that Torquay are back to their best. Anything other than a Win only encourages other teams .

I also remember Tony Collins and yes part of a wonderful forward line,no excessive frills like Larry Baxter but allways reliable and a great career after he left in coaching and scouting, thanks for the memories Tony.

TIME FOR ACTION BUT IT MUST BE LAWFUL.
For me it would be a total boycott of all games untill Owers leaves .Money people understand money and with lack of it through the gate it might make the point.I have posted on here a few years ago that National league south was the right full home for Torquay United, with the present set up I am now not so sure so I would back a new club (AFC Torbay ? ).We have a good couple of thousand supporters and enough people with knowledge to start again lower down.
I see no hope for Torquay United as we know it unless an Elton John type person comes along and that is just pie in the sky,the cancer is too far gone so let's start again, for me our club is dead,so that's sixty one years of support down the drain,,except for some wonderful memories.

I want Gowling to stay....
I would have Gowling to stay as he is a professional footballer with loads of experience .At the moment we seem to be importing NLS wannabees with "potential"!!.at least with Gowling we have expierence.OK ,at his age there is allways the possibility of injuries, but you can not beat experience.
