Yeah, cool. This is a thread asking people what their favourite games/consoles etc are, not what our favourite interests are. :}

Silly Canadians. :slap:

The last of us has to be one of the best games i've ever played.
Oh my, I guess the inclusion of the LOL emoticon was rendered pointless then? :) I wasn't trying to be holier than thou! And yes I must have skimmed too fast because I didn't see the Football manager mentions! I'll pay more attention next time and I'll lose the sarcasm as well. :)

Yep still here although its no longer the biggest mall in the world. Some Asian place has taken the top spot now. Still busy, still over priced. Lol.

Re: The Gaming Thread

Probably not surprising but hasn't been mentioned yet but the only game I play regularly is Football Manager 13 for the Mac via Steam download. I have followed this game since it was Championship manager. I don't go straight for the Premier league teams as I like a challenge and pick the only team worth playing haha. Plus it means Ling gets the sack from the start of the year! I did stop playing for a while and played Mafia and was thrilled to play Mafia 2 when it was finally released. Other than that I have a life and go outside and fish, mountain bike and run! :lol:

Alright pards

Alright me 'ansomes. Ok ok.
I have been a longtime lurker but never really thought I had much to say to join in. I'm originally from Carharrack a tiny village just outside Redruth but now live in Edmonton Canada. I emigrated over here 13 years ago having met a woman 5 years previously while on exercise with the British Army. Two kids one ten and one 3.
Torquay has always been my club even after my Dad tried persuading me to support the green team and taking me to see Sunderland visit back in the old division 2 I think it was. I've never been to TQ1 but would love to one day. As I'm sure everyone has done at some point or other I mentally made a list of things I would do first if I won the lottery but looks like Thea beat me to it. What else to say that I fully back the present manager as everyone should, I'm not panicking over the current squad situation (currently 26th June with half the squad departed) as most of the players that have left were dead weight anyway, and I'm sure new faces will be arriving sooner than later. And last but not least, I did not vote for 'G' in the shirt competition... It's ugly retro!

Cheers me dears.

Darryl.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Expat from Redruth now living in Edmonton, Canada.

I for one commend AK for not budging on £50. It's not like we have a sugar daddy with endless bank accounts. £50 saved on three contracts is £150 we can spend on a player who maybe is not haggling over that £150. I'd hate to miss out in a great signing just because we gave in on the demands of an average player.
