BBC Radio Devon

I agree with boycotting them but I have a couple of older friends who don’t have the internet & rely on radio devon for updates of the scores, even if they have to listen other commentary. There must be lots of people in this situation who don’t have the internet.

Hi Austrianantheagull,

No apology needed. I went to the match anyway & glad you were able to make it in the end, too. Good to see you back online.

Ticket for Newport at Home

Sorry to have upset you diamondgirl, but I go to every home game (only missed 1st 1 as i couldnt afford it) even when i havent felt like going cos of the position we're in. I dont go to away games as i cant afford them. I'll be going tonight & buying a ticket for the newport game, but wouldnt everyone take a free ticket to a game if they were offered it?

Re: Newport v Torquay United. 28/09/2013

I hardly ever post, preferring to read what other fans have written, but i'm afraid i've got a bit wound up by comments made about Steve Breeds commentary yesterday. Give the guy a break will you! It was obviously his first time doing the commentary, you've got to give him a chance! At least he had the courage to do it. I, for one, wouldn't have known where to start. At least we had commentary which is better than nothing & at least we all know he's a passionate supporter. I also thought he was gaining confidence as the game went on into the 2nd half.

All I can say is well done Steve & I'm sure it will improve the more games you do.

Re: Ideas for Mr Candy

Hi Mr Candy

I just wanted to bring up the subject of the handrails in Bristows Bench that are situated in between each lot of steps leading up to the back rows. Would it be possible to lengthen these so that they reach the bottom of each lot of steps down to the walk-ways as so many people, especially those with trouble walking, have trouble climbing them without the help of the handrails right at the bottom.

I would be grateful if something could be done about this & look forward to your response

Regards
