No way are a little club like Burton in any place to reject 700k. That's enough to put together a League 2 Dream team, which leads me to believe it isn't true..
Top little player though, would have to say it's closer to his level in League One.

The fault of 4 or 5 men, a couple from Japan in fact. Promised money constantly but it never came.
Don't dislike the whole of Plymouth because of a few idiots. We're still paying stuff back you know, and we will be for a little while still. It was embarrassing what happened but to be this bitter about the club when in reality it was down to a few non-Argyle (in terms of they weren't supporters) related people.
Next it'll be 'and what about that child killing goalkeeper'.. It does get tiring.

We've stuck him in CDM. Fierce player, really good. Wins the ball and lays it off, simple. Big fan.
He looked right up for the Exeter game, my guess is that's because of his time with you and now us.
Good luck with the season, saw you beat Welling earlier in the week. Good side at home but poor away.
Always nice to have a cheeky thrashing of the Greeks. Start to finish we were better, Reid looks awesome.. Though I'm sure you're not that interested.

Signed a loan deal with Argyle, any good? Will be suspended for the first game vs Cambridge but available for the Cup game against Orient a few days forward. Looking forward to seeing him.
Good luck for the season guys, always knew you had a good'un in Luke Young, still think we should've kept him but we've signed Ollie Norburn now who does appear to be a bit of an upgrade.
Oh well, cheers for any comments guys.

I'm still peed off we released him.
Good player for us, was in general very good over the first half of the season.
Any Argyle fan who tries to tell you he's no good is talking absolute bollocks.
He's better than League 1 football.. If he signs for you then I'd 100% want you to win promotion and it would be a nice little excuse to come up and visit Plainmoor again this season.

Argyle Released list..
Untrue. Reid has been excellent but without Hourihane, Nelson, McCormick and Alessandra we would be a relegation side. Thankfully all are ready for next season.ferrarilover wrote:Jake Cole please.
I'm not sure we want to be raiding their bin though. They are a relegation side for sure without Reid, so picking up their scraps probably won't serve us too well.
Matt.
Just need Reid to sign a contract and we're ready..
I hate sounding cocky and whatever, but I'd be surprised if we're not in the top 7 at the end of next season.. We've had a huge clear out, but definitely agree a lot of our side is largely average.

Parsons also released. Good young left back, had him since January. Imagine that will work out as a big mistake for us.

Several there who can do a job.
Blanchard is a good centre back but for some bizarre reason has been used as a right back all season.
Cole is a tad flappy for crosses but you'll struggle to find a better shot stopper below the championship. He's just that good. But unfortunately the other parts of his game let him down.. I imagine he'll sign for another League 2 side though.
The real surprise here is Luke Young. 21 years old and over 100 appearances. I'm yet to come across Argyle fans who wanted him to go, it's a huge shock to everyone. Perhaps he hasn't progressed as hoped but he's easily one of the best passers around, some excellent dead ball abilities too.
Vassell never progressed but did very well in tier 7 this season for Weymouth. Trotman is a donkey but no better than Downes so can't see why you would want him.
Boco.. Scored 10 goals for Accrington last season.. Is bollocks. Waste of a contract.
Good luck for next season, definitely some beys who would do well for you.

Yup, we're pretty inconsistent.ferrarilover wrote:I think you'll find Argyle are as appalling as ever, they jitsu got lucky in the loan market and found Reuben Reid. Still, best of luck to them and thanks to DG for the best wishes.
Matt.
One week we go to Oxford and win, the next we're getting thrashed by York.. It makes no sense. Yet, nice to be inconsistent rather than consistently shit.
As for the manager, improving all the time and much less stubborn than he used to be.
Not sure Hargreaves is the right man to be honest, we hired Sheridan when looking doomed and he had the fight and aggressiveness so to say. Has Hargreaves got that? Not sure.. But whatever he does have, I flipping well hope he keeps you up.

No I'm not, always enjoy a trip to Plainmoor and don't really like seeing you suffer.
Only one team I enjoy suffering and that's the Greeks up the road.
Na, seriously hope you'll be alright!
(I know it's not very helpful but even so)

Argyle fan who will be praying for your survival!
Been there, done it, got the t-shirt.. If Fletcher did it, how hard can it be?
Hopefully you'll be all ok!

Torquay Preview HELP!!!
Doing a preview type thing for PASOTI, so as a benefit, would anyone be able to give me some help?
Don't know a tremendous amount about Torquay so some help would be fantastic!
Basically, all I need to know is your formation and how you play, I can do the rest, a predicted line-up would be nice too :K
Very best of luck for tomorrow, you'll probably beat us!
Cheers

We love McCormick.
Also didn't know if you knew but he donates 50% of his charity to children's charities and does a lot of charity work for children.
He's one of the nicest blokes I've ever met, but what happened was a horrible, tragic accident.
