Hardly surprising - as access is only through the Family stand and also, therefore, for those in Bristow's Bench and the Pop side - all for home supporters only!

Fan Survey Results
The survey was mostly designed to achieve the answers that GI wanted and was often ambiguous.
Did they mean parking at the ground? (clearly a problem as TUFC do not own the few spaces that are there). If they meant street parking, then really not a problem.
Would it be better at a new stadium - indeed would there be room to have, say, 500 spaces? If it is to be at the Willows, street parking would be worse.
In my opinion, not a significant issue to justify a new stadium.
By the way, who on here would actually use a Park and Ride system - honest answers please!

Take, for example, the issue of parking at/near the ground. It must be assumed that this impacts negatively on gates
What issue or problem!? - has anyone not been able to find street parking within 5 - 10 minutes of the ground?

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way
A time to say goodbye to the entire squad and management ~ whatever you think of them
I think that would be not only harsh but also self defeating.
Of course it has everything to do with if we stay up, remain full time and if there is a reasonable playing budget but, at National League level, players like Moore, Rowe-Turner, McGinty, Lathrope, Young, Sparkes, Keating are surely good enough to keep. Others more questionable or too highly paid.
I would also give Nicholson a chance to show that he can build a team to compete towards the top end of the table, at least until Christmas - provided he pulls off another miracle on Saturday. I would not like to see Harrop taking over as Manager!

So Marsh put in a transfer request because he wanted to leave!
SO WHAT!
He was under contract and if he refused to play or train, then no need to pay him (breach of contract). If he just went through the motions, I suspect that other clubs might not have been keen on signing him at the end of the season.
More likely that the few pounds that we might have got for him, plus one player less to pay, was the deciding factor for the "money men and women" in charge!

Celebrity Support... Raising The Profile
Well dannyrvtufc4life, he was prepared to advertise the TUST meeting at the Museum in his weekly Community E-mail (around 3,000 subscribers) before he was elected and has already asked a question in Parliament specifically mentioning the plight of clubs such as TUFC concerning the non-funding by the FA of non league clubs Academy programmes. So, I would suggest, a very positive start!
It certainly does not hurt to have your local MP pictured with a TUST sign and on the side of our Club!!

Well, at least there is one person with serious business experience (Mark Bowen), one who knows about football (Dean Edwards), one who is a very dedicated fan who tells it like it is (Steve Breed). Let us hope that the other 7 are also "gems". One thing that can be said, they have put their money in so - thank you!

Well, this part of the statement from Bill Phillips really tells us where "his" priorities lie and where we are at present (the rest is worth reading, if only for the scale of the unbelievable attitude of the so called men in charge).
TORQUAY United are hopeful that a deal will be completed this week. I am out of the country from Friday and, therefore, the hope is for the deal to be complete or a long way down the line of being finalised by then, so an incoming consortium can get on with the business of running the football club.
So, as long as nothing interferes with Bill's holiday plans (clearly 3 weeks watching the cricket in the Caribbean whilst the Club was in crisis mode was nowhere near enough!) - nothing to worry about!!
I assume that Bill doesn't do telephones and E-mail while he is away!!

Takeover 50/50 ?
Kevgull,
As far as I am aware, the bond of £ 250,00 is only required by the Conference IF they consider that the Club does not have a realistic business plan and resources to complete the season. Clearly, the way things are going, that could well be the case.
Even if TUST had this sort of money (which clearly they don't), I do not think that TUST could or should be expected to pay this as things stand.
The only exception would be if TUST owned and ran the Club as they see fit and on behalf of the supporters - and this is hardly likely to happen within the next two weeks!
What is clear is that the more members that TUST has and the more funds that TUST can raise with the Forever Yellow Fund, the more chance TUST will have in the future of any potential rescue that might be needed.
The deafening silence from Plainmoor is just not good enough! Surely the supporters deserve to have at least some information as to the current situation and what is expected to be achieved in the short term future?

I wouldn't mind CH watching from the Gull's Nest with a decent bottle of red wine to keep him company if he could achieve even half as much as Eddie Howe has achieved!!
After all, successful management is supposed to be about team selection, tactics and what they do during the week on the training ground that should have the most influence!

RoadGull,
You make a very good point - and one that I hope that the TUST mught be able to help with and have some input - but it will, of course, depend on the attitude of the new owner(s).

Sturrock Leaves
BayGull,
You seem to have not realised that at the last home game, ALL supporters entering the ground were given a leaflet by the TUST to advertise TUST and the meeting - if you were not there and want a copy I can get one to you. Links to the TUST website were on it, so it can hardly be argued that TUST are not reaching out to and targeting supporters.
It is indeed disappointing that more did not bother to turn up for the meeting or that there has not been a rush of online membership applications - but you can hardly expect the TUST to keep giving out leaflets!
P.S.
Have you joined yet?

Nick - isn't Bruce Rioch also available and living close to the Tamar now?
If Wiki is right, he has quite an impressive overall win/draw over loss record in management and surely still has some good contacts.

sidcupgraham,
No need to pre-purchase tickets! - it will NOT be a sell out and you can pay on the gate. They give you a numbered seat ticket but you can more or less sit anywhere (except in a season ticket holder seat).
But, you might be expecting a little too much if you expect us to give Dartford a hiding!

"a player who CH failed to get the best out of, and that could have been down to homesickness maybe, and partly down to how he was managed."
I suspect that the way that he was "managed" and hardly used as a regular player is the main reason why he has left. It would not surprise me if he went on to play at a higher level and, as is usual it seems, we will have lost some potential income on a transfer fee.
However, if he really wanted to return closer to his roots and he was unsure of ever getting a regular place, then probably not a lot of point keeping him.
Let us hope that his replacement is at least as good and is not just a "cheaper" option.
