You know it's going to sh*t when a Maidstone fan calls us tinpot :slap:forevertufc wrote: We've been referred to on the non-league forum today as "tin pot" by a Maidstone fan, over that statement, yep, that's really funny. Not even going to bother answering the rest of your post, just do want you did once before and bore off.

You can genuinely see Plainmoor/the LWS up on the hill from the entrance of Torquay Academy!

The facilities there are actually really decent, I train at the gym there and I'm always impressed with how well the pitch is kept, it always seems to be in good nick. And it's dead flat.
The 3G pitch (which is full size) and grass pitches as well as the indoor facilities (gym, good changing rooms, sports hall) is all tucked away from the main school buildings and is right by the Cricketfield Road entrance so it's not like the players are walking through the school to get to training or anything, all very accessible and unintrusive.
Overall seems like a decent move.

Torquay WIN (Only post positive comments)
We're gonna win tonight, sneak a point at Chester then beat Forest Green and Cheltenham over the festive period. Things will be looking up and towards hopping out of the relegation zone come the start of the year.
Going up boxing day for the first time in a while, will be getting behind the team and the manager.

Only thing that gives me hope in terms of avoiding relegation is that other teams down and around us seem to be just as bad as we are. Southport and Kidderminster both also lost to lower league opposition today.

FA Cup 4th Qualifying Draw
Got to fancy ourselves against this lot even with the situation we're in - bottom of the division below and haven't won a league game all season. Cue us losing.....
A decent cup run would be so so valuable this season.

On the other hand, I paid £7 for a 17-21 ticket (I think adults were priced at £12) to see Southampton play Palace at the weekend in the cup and the 30,000 sold out in under 24 hours!wodger of awabia wrote:
Just watched Villa vs Bournemouth ( Sunday 2-1 ) in the F.A.Cup, lowest priced Adult non-concession ticket was £10.00. Still only 27,000 attendance. Does this mean that cup matches are no longer popular until the latter stages?
