100% with you Dawlish Matt. SG is one of the reasons I don’t post on here. He has an air of superiority and no grasp of the meaning of the word ‘forum’. Maybe his ‘Moderator’ status has given him delusions of grandeur??dawlishmatt wrote: ↑04 Aug 2019, 14:02 Southampton Gull. Both my wife and I, although I must stress that we are not medically qualified to give a diagnosis believe that you may be suffering from a mental health condition called Histrionic personality Disorder. There is help out there Dave and I urge you to see your doctor.

2019/2020 Kits
I would not recommend anybody ordering this shirt on Pro-Direct. I ordered the 3rd strip (white) top for my son on 8th July. It was not clear that this was a ‘Pre-Order’. I have phoned in a couple of times and have been told there are some issues with the supplier. Pro Direct keep giving me a different expected delivery date and nobody is taking any responsibility for the matter. I cancelled my order today and have ordered through the club shop who will dispatch today. Not impressed with Pro Direct. I also had issues when ordering the Limited Edition top which took an eternity to dispatch. Not good enough in this day and age I’m afraid

TUFC 2019/20 Squad
Ben Gerring announced on Twitter that he is signing a contract tomorrow, although it doesn’t specify with whom. Not sure if Johnson would entertain it; would be interested to see what the consensus would be on the slim possibility of him returning??

Play-off Winners?!
So Fylde have made the play-off final and Salford or Eastleigh await in the final. Fylde only attracted 1500 for their home play off match against Harrogate. Why oh why is the National league play off final played at Wembley when it will be about a 10th full. There are plenty of decent grounds with a capacity of 20k or so that could host this match. It would be a better atmosphere if it was full up too...

Very worrying story on Twitter saying that Gary Johnson is refusing to comment on speculation linking him to Argyle. Why would he refuse to comment if he was committed to TUFC??

TUFC Fans Banned?
Yes I do. Ban them. It’s easy to express yourself without running onto the pitch. Hopefully we can also identify the cretins who used the flares and the idiots in the corner giving Police/Security a hard time!!

A plea to TUFC fans at Woking on Saturday
I totally agree with this post and nearly made a similar plea myself. I have supported Torquay for more than 30 years and am incredibly proud of what we have achieved this year, albeit playing a lower level than we have ever been accustomed to. I now have two children of my own and will be taking them tomorrow. We live in Bristol but still have family in Torquay. I am proud that my boys want to support Torquay, even though they get berated by their classmates. I was at the Weston game and was ashamed by the behaviour of a small number of fans. I was also ashamed of the behaviour of some idiots at the Bath game. We are on the cusp of achieving something we should all be proud of. Let’s not ruin it or do anything that will reflect badly on our club. If I see any hooliganism I will not hesitate to record this and pass onto the club. We have a great fan-base, including exiles. Let’s enjoy the occasion and get behind the boys. COYY

Is tonight’s game in any doubt??
Planning on making the commute from Bristol. BBC Weather says it’s raining from 2pm onwards, albeit showers. Has there been much rain overnight? This game needs to be on!!

The Gary Johnson effect
You’re absolutely right. And this thread is supposed to be about the ‘Gary Johnson Effect’. It’s why I stay away sometimes. Some of what’s posted is complete tosh; and not just normal ‘tosh’, it’s negative tosh and utterly mind-numbing. I get that it’s about free speech but if people want to discuss the non/footballing stuff then perhaps they should do it on another thread..Launceston Gull wrote: ↑07 Feb 2019, 22:37 Ever wondered why 80% of users are "guests".... read the last 3 or 4 pages of garbage that appear on this thread and you can understand why some may be put off from registering and having a say.
