"There's gonna be a riot". ?

I'm aware that the mayor won't be there. That's not really the point. If we can generate some more awareness of the situation by arranging a peaceful presence outside of the town hall, which reaches people who wouldn't otherwise be aware, that's got to be a good thing. If it helps to make the decision a bit more uncomfortable for the mayor, all the better.

Talk Sport next Friday 28/04

It's certainly not on the agenda for the 26th nor have there been any proposals. What I would say is that it is unlikely that the mayor will make an executive decision if it is deemed to be unpopular amongst locals. In this instance, he will probably be defer the decision to full council.

Absolutely no need for there to be a riot but we do need to make the mayor aware of our feelings and plans are in place for a fans gathering outside of the town hall on Saturday 29th at 10.00am. If the mayor is of the opinion that any decision that he makes will make him unpopular, he'll almost certainly refer it to full council to make the decision.

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

Hi All, I've spoken to my father this morning who is a councillor and he is of the opinion that the disposal of the lease at Plainmoor is a full council decision and not a decision which can be made solely by the Mayor. He has advised that as many people as possible email the councillors prior to the meeting on the 18th January to put their concerns across.
