Bishops Cleeve FC v Torquay United Sat 14 Sept KO 3pm
Not important in the scheme of things. Promotion is the key. We will be up from Plymouth on 2nd November against Chelmsford. Argyle/ Liverpool /Norwich/ Torquay fans but all yellow for the day and loud!

First pre season games announced
Sadly, I can't make this one but I do hope Argyle give Torquay all of the gate receipts. We have been through what Torquay have and it's not nice. We appreciated your help in our hour of need. Last season United became my second club, we having travelled up from Plymouth for a couple of games, thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and will be back next season for sure - Chelmsford 2nd November will be the first. There are great similarities between Argyle and Gulls fans and I see us as brothers against the tiny, silent small minority (Exeter fans).

Oscar Threlkeld is a fantastic signing for United. I would say he is League One standard if he can maintain full fitness.

Beautiful Plainmoor
United and Argyle probably have the best aerial views in the country. Looking forward to coming up from Plymouth for a few games as we did last season! I wouldn't be surprised with the Paul Wotton connection if there are more Argyle fans next season, especially if Argyle are away long distance.
Hopefully, will also be there for the usual pre-season friendly. The Wayne Rooney circus should ensure a huge attendance for that one.

Those two will guarantee Torquay top class exposure in the media next season, so it is up to the players and the fans now. League Two in a couple of years and maybe beyond in a couple of years beyond that.

More than ever, we will be up to watch Torquay United next season! Hopefully some top class loans from Argyle too! Hopefully, back in the Football League in a couple of years!

Well done in the circumstances, but really this club really should be in the Football League competing in League Tw0 at the very least. I'm an Argyle fan but can't get tickets at Home Park. I love the atmosphere at Plainmoor. Come on you Gulls!

An absolute nightmare for a club that should be at LEAST two Divisions higher. Much better times will surely come though, as my home team Argyle have proved. I'm sure that In a few years this nightmare will have been entirely forgotten. 90 fans from Taunton........

Good luck to The Gulls tonight! I will be listening to the BBC Radio Devon commentary in Plymouth. Thankfully Torquay matches take precedence over Exeter games on the Plymouth frequency.

Torquay United v Aveley F C Saturday 24 Feb KO 3pm
Well, three of us went from Plymouth to the match on Saturday; nothing to do with the current debacle, as we'd booked a hotel and tickets months ago. We can't get tickets at Argyle, so we opt for our favoured alternative - Torquay. The atmosphere was fantastic and sounded to us like a lot more than 3,600. Best Players wete no 9 Jarvis and the no. 11, with an honourable mention to our own no. 18 Jenkins-Davis - at least in the first half. Negatives: the daft roadworks on thet seafront which will need to be sorted before the summer season!!

I will be there on Saturday, as will two other friends from Plymouth. I'm an Argyle fan, but the other two are from Liverpool and Norwich, whose first loyalty is of course to those clubs. However. we all have an affinity to Torquay and will be Gulls for the day, as we were during our last visit in early December against Tonbridge. No way can this geat club be allowed to die! Also ,thanks for supporting Argyle during our own nadir; Argyle fans won't forget that and will support the Gulls during this dire episode. You will come out of this stronger.

Well, four of us from Plymouth will be at Plainmoor on 24th Feb for the match against Aveley. We aren't plastics and our roots are not all from Plymouth (me - I can't get a ticket at Home Park), Torquay, Liverpool and Norwich. We came to the Tonbridge game in early December, really enjoyed the atmosphere, hospitality and Torquay won; so hopefully we will bring some good luck! No way should this club be out of the Football League.

Really pleased for you guys tonight! Love the Popside atmosphere when I visit Plainmoor! - Most Argyle fans wish you well, as did most of you us during our dark days. Hope to get to Plainmoor before the end of the season.
