Well look like we going to continue fighting for dad then, thank you for all for your comments. Yes my dad started at 13 years of age, got international honours for his efforts for England. Plainmoor was his base second home for around 20 years, he is the most loyal servant ever and it will never happen again. I am willing to help to get more if we can . The suite was opened 9th February to be honest it's taken a lot to get that and I gave up a bit, it shouldn't of been hard after what he gave to Torquay United.

I am Ian Twitchin daughter I have merse backup, the amount of people that attended my father funeral has made me even more determined he deserves a premenant memorial. Pat Kruse is in Australia but has contacted my mum and family. It's a hard time at the moment but I going to try to get something for my dad being loyal to tufc.my dad flowers were in colour of spurs and Torquay United, his old boots on coffin loyal till end. Please help with any suggestions as I don't have a clue my dad was my hero and I loved his stories, even if I heard them twenty times. My dad is buried at teignmouth cemerety and mum lives in bungalow next door, so we got him close. Also Dave rudge hasn't moved away I saw him at funeral as anyone got contact details for him please. The only person we can't find us Willy brown I just hope he knows

For all his pro career, he played over 400 games for the club, with only 4 others. He also played for England youth and Devon. I remember being at Shaldon primary school in 1978, Your Dad & John Turner showed up to give us a training session, wow what an experience it was my first time proper training lesson & I've never forgotten how kind & patient they were with us 10 year olds, truly unforgettable.
