Lucy can I ask when was the last time you saw the pitch at plainmoor.
How can you complain or comment on something you have not seen?

Truro City end groundshare

Why what is the pitch drinking??

Seriously it's 2018 not 1988 don't worry about the pitch it's perfect.

We have C.O to thank for the money he has spent and made available to transform the drainage.

Obviously the Truro away game will officially not be segregated.
Meaning anyone can go anywhere.
The away end likely to be closed
If it was segregated then yes Tufc fans would only have the away end.
So stop panicking peeps.

Remember we have no say in what Truro want to do for their home game.

But keep calm.

Talks of them reducing prices to £10 is a possibility.

Norman Smurrhwaite.

I'm not missing that point.
AFC Nuneaton did.
Hence why he has screwed them over like he would have done us!!!!
The penny will drop soon.
I know most on here are like 10-20 years behind in how football is run these days.
Hence where we are today...
Goodbye Nuneaton glad it wasn't us as you all wanted.

Yes but Nuneaton let him take control of the club.Nuneaton don't own their ground the rugby club does.
He went in there asset stripped them within 4 months and last week did a runner.
Taking all the money.
Volunteers are in control of match day takings and are currently being held in a bank account as no official account exists anymore.
He has screwed them.
Oh how the people who hate Clarke are so upset now.
We escaped this one feel lucky it wasn't us.

And when I played in the Doctor Martens league equalivent of 7th tier... 7 years ago I was on more than £400 a week and no I was not on a contract.

No doubt if he came here you today would be saying he's our saviour when he took over in June.
Then 4 months later be wondering where has he gone what has he done.
Clueless

Hence the post.
He took over in June completely asset stripped the club.
But alas bless you from that link in June your only 4 months behind in the news.
Sums you up really.
Bit like TUFC a bit behind the times.

Yes Norman Smurrhwaite took over Nuneaton in the summer.
3 months later he has left the club with no chairman or directors
He sold all the players on contract and done a runner last week.
Club are penniless and will close within weeks.
Why are you putting up links to him taking over in June????
Then as we enter October he has done a runner.
So I'm afraid I am correct.
Yes I am wrong Tiverton contracted players are on around £600 a week after expenses.
The saviour in June the destroyer by October.
But alas TUFC fans are a bit behind the times ho hum.

Levi Landricombe

Well he is.
To buy out his contract will include having to pay his other wages from his full time job.
A professional contract at this level doesn't mean he is a full time professional.
It is the club protecting themselves if sold.
Wages would be around £400 a week minimum at tivvy plus expenses plus other wages from his job. about 1,000 a week minimum.
That is what you have to pay for a fee for him.
So minimum of 52,000 just to buy out his contract before transfer fee added on.
That's before wages on or anything.
So are we willing to pay around £100,000 for him or indeed the same with Taunton Towns contracted players???
I hope not.
Football at this level is very different indeed regarding signing part timers on full professional contracts.
Welcome to lower level non league.

Why can't we afford him???
He is on a contract.
There end of thread now surely.
He is on a professional contract whilst working in a day job.
Would cost us around £3000 a week in wages before transfer fee to buy out contract around £350,000.
Club in 8th tier had 18 year old on contract signed for premier league club under 23 academy cost them 335,000.
So get over signing him or anybody from Taunton.
We can steal Bristol city academy players on the cheap on loan.
They had a deal with Weston super mare, until last season.
Look at Weston now that available to them this season.

FA Cup 3RQ Draw

Has to be a good kick up the backsides for our staff, players and supporters to get behind the team and sing loud and be proud.

Why?? If it gets worse we could end up playing at these grounds every week.

Wright and Rocky Neal are both on a years contract so won't be moving anywhere unless a fee is paid.
Same with Levi and goodship at Weymouth.
I believe 8 of the Taunton squad are on same contracts.
So no none of these players will be moving to Torquay or Truro.

New Stadium for Exeter?

So what your saying is...
They want to be onboard Torquay's new ground.
They want to provide a business strategy and get businesses on board to move to the new site, whilst running it on a day to day basis.
Sounds ideal and very normal to me.
It's how business works.
Hopefully they can generate TUFC a lot of money from non footballing related income.
Just what we need to catch up and survive.
Also the new stadium will prodominetly be for Exeter Chiefs I would imagine.

A crington Stanley. Earn around 1,000 a week from car parking shock.
They have land far more than plainmoor.
So Accrington Stanley whom we must look up to. Make money from the poorest ground on England.
Where does that leave us oh yes 10 years behind and in the national league south.
You still don't get it.
