Not sure if this is the right place for this. As you can tell Torquay United are not my team but have always had a soft spot for them and for some unknown reason I’ve seen them at Burnley in the play offs, Wolves in the Leyland DAF, Colchester when it was members only as well as Wembley and of course Plainmoor.
It filled me with great sadness that the club was forced in to administration. I’ve no idea if the owner is to blame or it’s a culmination of lots of things.
I’ve donated via the Torquay website and just wanted to wish all of you the best and hopefully better times are round the corner

Emirates FA Cup 1st round | Torquay United v Crawley Town | 08/11/2020 12.45pm KO
What on earth has happened? Crawleys third goal seems to be timed at 90+21?!
Great start to the season by the way

Torquay United v Maidenhead United 13/8/19
Despite the result I think you guys should take a lot of positives from last night. I obviously don’t see your games very often so not biased towards any players. Little in the centre of midfield looks like a player that could play at a higher level. Is his first name really Armani? Reid gets in good positions but heading does not appear to be his strength and there were too many high balls to him. When it was played on the floor he was fine. Goalkeepers distribution was awful. He didn’t have a great game full stop but I lost count of the time he rushed his kick and it went to nobody.
It was one of those games unfortunately where you have all the play but just can’t score. I certainly would not be too down about it. You have some good players for this standard and will be absolutely fine.

Looking forward to this immensely. My son and I are coming to this and hoping to see a big improvement to the last game we saw which was Tranmere a couple of seasons ago. By coincidence I live 5 miles from Maidenhead and know a couple of people who watch them. Not the prettiest is how they described them!! I presume the bar at the end of the ground is still open to all?

Horrible conditions across the country yesterday and I’m sure there were a fair few keeper errors. Looks like a tough start to the season but it’s not a bad start My first game for a couple of years on Tuesday so really looking forward to it. Any new signings to look out for? I presume you can pay on the day?

TUFC Fans Banned?
I’m not a big fan of pitch invasions but I do understand why they happen. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been on the pitch a couple of times and I am no hooligan but sometimes things get the better of you. What happened at Woking just sounds like over happiness and is easily forgivable as long as that’s all it was.

Great result and excellent resolve to come from 3-1 down. Looks pretty good now and only a major balls up can stop you now.
