Time for the 2nd pink strap to go...

Whole team, needs to grow a pair and start a winning run, not be bothered by the kit.....although personally, I detest it. Blue& Yellow are our colours, which should be worn home and away unless there is a colour clash.

(TUST) "Yellow Army Share Issue" NOW LIVE!

Taelee73 wrote: 13 Sep 2024, 08:16 Must have been years ago, but I remember a floodlight upgrade we had and the club said they were now Championship standard!

TBH does anyone look at the big screen? It’s something that’s not utilised, especially at halftime. If not advertising, then maybe highlights from our history could be shown?

I think they said they’d hold onto the money until Christmas and see how the squad is doing, injuries etc.
The big screen has NEVER been used to its full potential,....it is a great communication tool ie 50/50 winning numbers displayed. Also why are birthdays not shown? For £50 a mention (twice) "Happy Birthday Peter Pan, 70 today, with a photo and extra tenner....Easy money, just needs someone to action it.

Other areas that are brilliant facilities but never exploited are the Restaurant (Sunday Lunches /Carvery) and the gym.

I would use BOTH if available.

Over to The Bryn Consortium for action please.

Welling v Torquay United Sat 7 Sept KO 3pm

Fantastic opening half hour against Chippenham on Tuesday evening, if we can replicate that we will be Champions in April.

However, it may be the case of " after the Lordsmayor show...... I shall go for a happy medium but hoping for three points.

Welling 0 Torquay 0.

Southampton Gull wrote: 02 Sep 2024, 11:07 I thought it was National League clubs who entered at the 4th qualifying round? NLS and NLN at the 2nd surely?
You are spot on SG. National League come in at the 4th QR. We have a banana skin of a game but should progress.

TUFC v Aveley

I am finding this extremely difficult this season. It should be a win but could be any score. Just hope for a run of clean sheets but not convinced it will be this weekend....however, I will predict;

Torquay 2 Aveley 0

Am I too late, got stuck in traffic lol no score yet though.
Why did not you enter before? We were all told before the start of the comp, that we had to enter by one minute to kick off. Therefore I would support the organiser in dismissing your appeal....Sorry! Get your prediction in NOW for Saturday v Aveley.

Austen Booth banned

He can be dismissed for Gross Misconduct for not revealing that he was under investigation for those offences. I like the lad but we can not pay him for nothing. Maybe he could train with us and sign on when his sentence is served. Any chance of an appeal?....Just show some remorse, say sorry and get a shorter ban.

Bath City v Torquay United Tuesday 20 August KO 19.45

brucie wrote: 20 Aug 2024, 22:57 Why? we were the bookies favourites to win tonight. They had 3 outfield subs on the bench one of whom was a 16 year old. Their full back who got taken off at half time hasnt played a minute all season.

Too close for comfort in the end for me.
But three points at the end of the day, is all we are interested in. Great result, which we must follow up with another win on Saturday.....against the favourites for the title.

2-1..…What a fantastic result, given the circumstances. A well earned three points. I expected to win on Saturday, with problems tonight but it was a complete reverse......what do I know? - nothing!
