It most likely had something to do with 4 morons at full time who started hurling abuse at the guy, whether you like him or not, no one deserves that level of abuselongfordgull wrote: ↑08 Aug 2023, 15:36 One of the things I found most worrying about the Dover game was Gary Johnson's body language in the postmatch interview. He looked and sounded like a broken man.

I hope it is a defender who isn't afraid to put the ball down and play, our downfall yesterday was because we panicked and reverted to hitting the ball long, easy to iron out with the right personnel taking responsibility for playing short

1 game out of 46 and people are already done with the season, honestly why be a football fan when it makes such a negative impact on your day?

Funnily enough we looked worse when Mcgavin was subbed off, he at least seems keen to actually play the ball on the floor

Couldn't agree further, I'm all aboard for the new season, buzzing for Dover (a) and can't wait to support my team once again, ups and downs, I'm 100% inknightmaregull wrote: ↑31 Jul 2023, 21:57
The neg ferrets on here are so tedious. The player sponsors event today was great, full of positivity and perspective. Really brings it home that the players are just young, ordinary lads trying to do their best. The management team couldn't be more affable either.
I just can't understand why you'd support TUFC / spend your time online if all you have are negative feelings. Each to their own but there are far more important things in life. Just strap in and enjoy the ride!

Not sure on Dawson or Moxey but I spoke to one of the directors and apparently Marshall had an eye operation which he is very close to returning.
I agree that one of the post match question should be centered around injury updates to give us fans an insight into what's going on

Loanee youths more miss than his?Mr Tea808 wrote: ↑14 Jul 2023, 22:41 Very cushy questions and evening for GJ and his hired help, dining out on the last 10 games when it was to little to late, the damage was done, Inferior cast offs signed up, loanee youths who were more miss than hit, 40 players used and GJ in denial = relegation was a given ...No way in the world players are staying with us for less cash, that's totally flowering up things, if Stobbs is happy playing 6th tier football then good luck to him, its no disgrace at all, but I thought he might of set his sights higher..I think next season maybe a real wake up call to everyone, we've actually found our level, we played a few NLS teams last season and you couldn't tell who was the higher placed team..
Goodwin
Wearne
Da Silva
Nico Lawrence
Collins Stobbs
There were a couple of misses but it was certainly more hits than misses

1) because no one is better suited to getting us promoted.6667GULL wrote: ↑11 Jul 2023, 11:34 Three questions which won't be asked-
Why should we have any confidence this coming season in a manager who got us relegated?
Why did you disrespect our loyal support when we lost last season, particularly at away games?
Why do we still have the same first team coach who is clearly not up to the job?
It will be a Gaffer total waste of time.
2) because you can't expect to hurl abuse at someone and expect them to take it.
3) I refer you to my 1st answer

Very impressive how people can talk a out a 5-0 win in such a negative manner, how about let fans enjoy us winning for a change?
