Yeovil Town v Torquay Utd Friday 29th 3pm

Admiral wrote: 29 Mar 2024, 21:19 I know a few people think McGavin is technically gifted but to me he is everything that’s wrong with this squad. Needs dropping asap
He has been a total waste of space and has been a luxury we cannot afford certainly not in a relegation battle !
Blame the prat that gave him a 3 year contract.

Yeovil Town v Torquay Utd Friday 29th 3pm

Pleased this one is over. Yeovil are not that good but have performed the season with consistency. Unlike our bunch of softies. Stubbs cost us the 1st goal far too weak in the challenge in my opinion. Somebody needs to tell this bunch we are in a relegation battle and they are playing for their future careers in the game.
McGavin slowing the game down at 3-0 down !
Ash I am lost for words !
AJB best player for us has some guts and he is a loanee.
Added pressure now on Monday.
Can we get a result..on this show I doubt it.

Carrot crunchers 3 Gulls 1
Once again hope I am wrong.
We surrendered to this lot far too early in the season. Hope some of our softies can rise to the occasion. I will be there to witness if we can.

Dave wrote: 24 Mar 2024, 09:24 That was me, just merely expressed an opinion, having seen the last experiment to try and turn an aging midfielder into a CB under Buckle, with Chris Hargreaves turn out to be such a miserable failure, and factoring in Asa Halls lack of match time didn't think it would work, however over the years I've never had a problem admitting when when my opinion was wrong, and to be fair in this match Hall at CB worked really well, certainly added to the team rather than taking anything away.

Totally agree with the rest of your post.
Total respect for your reply.
It was a tongue in cheek comment only.
Let’s all hope Asa can keep Nouble quiet on Friday he will be facing a much sterner test for certain.
A repeat performance would be wonderful. I am looking forward to attending and bringing home a point prior to the visit of WSM. COYY

Who questioned my suggestion last week that Hall could not play at centre back ? 🤔
Old brigade done us proud today. Better organised, strong challenges a Big win which not many of us expected.
Well done to all 👏👏

RedGull1902 wrote: 16 Mar 2024, 18:31 What’s this 9 point crap? 9 points will not be enough to keep us up! Went today thought we were the better footballing side BUT cannot defend or make chances!! Or even a shot on goal apart from the goal! 5/6 times they opened us up 1v1, everyone goes on about ash but a least he runs/ hassles, Jarvis waste of fu—ing time!
Jarvis and Ash should have been tearing this league up. The pair of them have failed miserably.
Jarvis cannot jump and win a header to save his life and heading for a 3rd successive relegation on his CV. A Marquee signing don’t forget agree a waste of time !

North Curry House wrote: 16 Mar 2024, 16:22 We are completely f***ed this season, how are we going to get nine points from remaining games? Absolutely no chance, we look so weak, all over the pitch.
We have not been at the races all season with this embarrassing bunch. Far too many softies who Johnson kept faith with and them coupled with the Old Crocks that are past it this is where we are. Jarvis cannot win a header and falls over and he is just about the best we have, Ash runs around but does little else .
I believe we will get the 9 points just. Hopefully new owners who are football people and a complete clear out of this useless spineless bunch.

A crocked Hall would not give the ball away so that’s my answer.
Tomlinson is not strong enough as has been proven all season

He would have been a better option 18 months ago, too late now NCH sadly
