Further good wishes to Michael Westcott and the Bryn Consortium....I am sure they will be the right team to take things forward.
My last word on Mr Broderick.....

I'm certainly not having a pop at any of the Bryn consortium in general and Michael Westcott in particular. All credit to them and total respect.
My gripe is with the publicity seeking mouthpiece Mr Broderick, who appears to be a prize self publicist of the first order. Just a thought, I wonder if he was involved in the initial preferred bid that has obviously fallen apart.

All of which is absolutely true. But, they haven't got the money, and have got a publicity seeking mouthpiece who is not following the non disclosure agreementsknightmaregull wrote: ↑01 May 2024, 18:05 I can only assume this is a wind up. TUST are a vehicle for the fans / members. Those who have volunteered their time to be on the board and work behind the scenes to ensure a plan B remained available when the plan A withdrew have my heartfelt gratitude. Time will tell what TUST's involvement will be but for now we seem to have genuine people putting up genuine money to preserve the club's NLS status.

Because they have insufficient funds to get anywhere near a successful bid. Publicity seeking only.standupsitdown wrote: ↑01 May 2024, 16:35 That’s a strange comment to make about a very professionally run organisation, with membership of about a third our average attendance (much higher than most trusts) and with the interest of the club and its fans foremost.
I really don’t understand why a few people feel the need to be so negative.

Any chance the guy can keep his mouth shut in what is a delicate negotiation? All the other interested parties have followed the non disclosure rules. Except Broderick!! All about him!!!culmstockgull wrote: ↑01 May 2024, 15:05 I see nick broderick has said on devon live, we can be that safety net if the bidders cannot get it over the line by the league AGM, possibly to arrange for us to play in the western league as a phoenix club but anything more is just wishful thinking, they have very little cash and their crowd funder failed in a big way.

Cloud cuckoo land if you think Gerrard is going to drop down to this level. Almost certainly he will be on the short list at Football League clubs.
Plus, he's never moved more than 20 miles from home lol.

If Messers Edwards and Hayman weren't going to be I involved, ask yourself why they both would be working at the club unpaid?

The preferred bidders want to include current and past directors.
