Hughes, Senda, Williams, and Kalala weren't "bit part players". Like my fellow gashead said above, releasing all of those players and letting Hoskins go wouldn't have been done without approval, someone is pulling the strings.

I would say good luck tonight but I don't think you'll need it, you'll be through IMO. But if you're not then I don't care because it means we get Bucks quicker!

Re: Buckle

Considering Lines and Hoskins are both supposedly going for a combined total of £600,000, I'd say we most definitely can.

Buckle

Rumours are that he agreed to sign for us on Monday, regardless of what division you'll be playing in next season, and that he plans to bring his assistand, Branston and Zebroski with him.

Re: Interviews ahead of Shrewsbury playoff

He's gagging for our job, you could see it in his eyes when the reporter brought it up ;-)

The operative quote from Paul's interview was definitely "if the right move comes along, it'll happen". Correct Paul, yes it will!

Re: Unauthorised Approach.

If we did get Buckle as our manager, you would be guaranteed to compensation anyway. Just making that point because a lot of people seemed to have missed.

Might come down from Bristol to watch...

See what kind of football our new manager plays.

Re: Buckle seen in Bristol

Hi, Gashead here as you can tell..

My neighbour has been a security guard at the Memorial Stadium for 36 years and he told me yesterday when I was coming home that he saw Paul Buckle exiting the Board of Director's Meeting Room at 2.15, and then leaving the ground itself at 2.30. Make of that what you will.

Now for what it's worth our Chairman has said today that he will be making an announcement within the week regarding who the next manager will be. It that really is the case then I, and most people, would be incredibly shocked to see PB leave days before a play-off match, one of the biggest in your club's history!

Oh, and also, Danny Senda is class.
