Greeting From Bristol

Afternoon Gulls fans...

I just wanted to know on what your views are on Keith Curle when he was with you as manager/coach???

I know you guys were relegated under him but do you blame him for it or was it a no hoper even before he took it on???

There is talk that he has applied for the job that is vacant since Tango Man got the boot!!!

Regards

Southampton Gull wrote:Oasis, we weren't angry that you took him, indeed some of us were quielty pleased. What pissed us all off was how he chose to leave and how he left some of our better players out of contract and available for him to take as he pleased.

Most of us are laughing at him, praying he falls flat on his arse but I don't think you will find many who harbour any ill-will towards your Club. Buckle is arrogant and stubborn, if you give him enough time he will turn it around but I expect most are like me in hoping that you don't ;-)
TBH I think he is close to getting the bullet.

We got Top of the table Southend next week, then the cup game and then Swindon at home, We may win the cup game but if and at this moment in time I'd say there is a good chance we lose both our next 2 league games I think he is a gonna.

There were rumours that the board were interested in Gary Johnson before Buckle took over but weren't prepared to pay the compensation fee for him, now he has been sacked and still got his apartment close to Bristol

How hard you guys must be laughing at us!!!!

Greetings from Bristol....

Like to start off by saying fair play to you guys this season, I'm sure that when Martin Ling was appointed there were a few of you who thought "What the F***???"'m s but god how I would love to have Ling here at the moment instead of your old boss!!!

The pressure is really on him at the moment and there was a loud chant of "We want Buckle out" listening to the radio at the final whistle today.

After the game out of about 20 fans who called in only about 2 still support him while others are baying for his blood.

There are a few rumours on twitter that there was a emergency board meeting tonight and a fan claims on Facebook that he has been given the bullet.

When we took PB off you in the summer I'm sure that you were angry and upset but there is always that old saying....

"Karma will bite you in the ass"

Good luck for the rest of the season, BTW do you want Beven and Zebroski back??? Please take em' :-/

Honestly, who on earth is interested in Bristol Rovers? Absolutely no-one. No nipper grows up telling all their mates that 'one day, I'll play for the mighty Rovers'. Not a dig, a fact. Zedders has been just fine and dandy commuting from Swindon for ages now and if Buckle hadn't gone to you lot, he would be quite happy to continue. Equally, if PB had gone to Carlisle United, or Falkirk, or Plymouth, I'm pretty sure if Rovers had come for him, he'd have told them where to go.

This move has been engineered by Buckle, who will get his man one way or another. By hook or by crook, CZ will play for the team rapidly becoming Torquay B and at the moment, it's looking like quite a lot of crook.

Can we evidence this? Do we have a NOTW stylee fake-sheik? No, of course not. Anything we present to the FA will be laughed at, so we have to let him go and hope that he enjoys all the money you lot are throwing around, shortly before it goes tits-up of course.

Matt.
But why then once Zebroski hands in a transfer request you guys start accusing PB and Bristol Rovers of doing this and doing that???

Also I can't see why some of you guys kinda suggest PB has ripped your team when we have only signed 1 player from you???

If you guys wanted to keep Bevan then surely you just offer more money than what we were???

Seriously I'm not here on a wind up, but maybe we have made numerous offers for Zebroski and they have been turned down and his agent has said "if you wanna go there you are gonna have to push abit"

I do agree that our timing to speak to PB was not good but that is no fault of our own, we needed a new man and our board identified PB, It only needed your board to say "No, you can't talk to him" or "come back after the play-offs" but your board surely must have given us permission to speak to him???

Re: What price Zebroski?

This is a serious question, If Buckle has tapped up Zebroski then surely your board should be making a complaint to the FA??

I can see why they will not do this if Buckle has done wrong??

Buckle you may be correct but the new stadium??

Love to be proved wrong but I have no confidence in our current owners to produce the stadium which we have been hearing since around 1982!!! :rules:

BTW good luck Gulls fans, Hope you guys do it :goal:

Greetings From Bristol

Evening gulls fans and well done on getting to the play-off final, hope you guys do it :scarf:

Anyway just wanted to ask a few question about Paul Buckle and don't worry, I'm not one of our idiots who will start saying we are a massive club with massive potential because IMO at the end of the day potential is only important if you fufill it and at the end of the day you guys have one foot inside league 1 while we are going to be a league 2 side.

Anyway I don't wanna come on here and say Buckle is going to be our new manager because if he is the guy our board want I would rather wait until it has been confirmed before spouting off on here.

What are your views on him??? I don't mean if you like him or not because i'm sure 99% of your fans love him to bits but I kinda mean what are your views on....

The football he plays??
Character???
Rapport with the fans??
Tactics (formation?? does he like to use out and out wingers)
His views on the youth side of the club with regards to brining youth through.
His success in the transfer market/loan market???

And finally do you think that he is destined to manage at the very top (premier league) and do you think he would make it at the top???

Anyway good luck for the final next weekend, I will be rooting for you guys to come through.

Regards
