Re: Martin Rice

The only thing worse than signing Martin Rice as our No.2 is infact probably signing as our No.1. The only positive is that he probably won't play more than a couple of games this season.

Rice is useless. If Exeter, Plymouth, Bristol Rovers etc. we'd all be pissing ourselves saying he's rubbish, yet he signs for us & he's quite good.

Not an Oastler fan but he was class 1st half.

Re: PSF: Tiverton Town v Torquay United

McPhee usless as ever & Kee never really looked like scoring. Saah & GK look solid enough.

Re: Championship striker

Could Niall Rodney be the Championship striker that we now have missed out on?

Re: Championship striker

You mean Will Grigg Alexgulls? He's one for the future apparently. He did score a couple in League One last season.

Re: Robertson next for transfer list

It will be the day when a team containing the likes of Craig Stanley & Chris Zebroski are in a side fighting relegation.

The fact is that Buckle's team will be the team to beat next season. What isn't as clear is whether or not he can handle the constant pressure of managing a side that are expected to be successful.

Re: Ambition (again)

If you want a great idea of ambition then look at Stockport County. Relegated to the BSP yet they've bidded for Ryan Lowe from Bury, 28 goals for them last season in League Two! Also made offers for Jamie Vardy & Sean McConville interestingly.

Re: Two Poss Signings

Rumourchap's talking complete bollocks. Adam Ledgzins to Torquay is my favourite one so far. As CP said Martin on trial at Crewe & Bobby Linn at East Fife...? Well have to admire him for originality.

Re: Thanks for nothing Zebroski

Y ou can't really blame Zebroski for the Crawley loss either, that goes entirely to Buckle for his bizarre 4-5-1 with the smallest person on the pitch upfront on his own. Zebroski didn't help matters I agree with you on that one.

I can understand your disappointment because TUFC have done so much for him & there's obviously no loyalty whatsoever. But that's football CP.

Re: Tough job for Ling

How on earth can Jock say that the team now isn't weaker than last year? Jesus christ. Our team is nailed on for relegation unless Ling makes some solid signings.
