Re: John Milton

Interesting, should help the rookie manager if we employ one, The experience and the knowledge should help us on our way, hopefully he doesn't follow Buckle, and in the case if he is a Torquay fan surely he would want to stay?

Re: Who will Buckle take with him?

As long as we get a reasonable amount for O'kane and Zebs, if they leave that is. I don't care, I would like to see stanley sign for us and Not B-R. Robinson is another Jake Thomson, 1 footed and a 1 trick pony, not interested in him.

I feel next season could be great, or a disaster, I mean if we can strengthen the side with a RB, and If O'kane goes maybe sign Lee frecklington, Re-sign branno for 1 more year, and we could still have a real chance of Promotion, maybe not automatic, but playoffs again. However, on the contrary If we don't sign Branno on a 1 year contract, we don't replace Zebs or O'Kane if they sell them, we will become lightweight in most areas, a will probably slip down the table.

Who we get for a manager will also play a big part in next season, only time will tell I guess.

Re: How will you welcome Bucks back next season

I will just act like it never happened, I don't care how Buckle is, just care about if The gulls smash Rovers.

The result is all the matters to me, next year might be harder than ya'll think.

Plymouth 16/1
Bristol Rovers 16/1

AFC Wimbledon 25/1

Accrington Stanley 33/1
Barnet 40/1
Burton Albion 40/1
Morecambe 50/1
Cheltenham 50/1
Hereford 50/1
Macclesfield 80/1

First thoughts

- Macclesfield far too long, perhaps a good handicap bet when those odds emerge
- First time Bradford City have not been favourites sicnce joining league 2
- Shrewsbury and Port Vale (with Micky Adams back) look generous
- AFC Wimbledon, I fear, could bounce straight back down, 25/1 should be closer to 50/1 in my opinion
Just to add to that, I feel that Bristol Rovers would be a good bet, maybe more of a 12/1. I think that with the money they have got they could be a real trouble to play against, they also get reasonable crowds, which also helps.

Wimbledon won't go down Imo, or be close to the bottom, they are too big of a club, with too much on the line to go down, they can't afford to go down into the conference again, as I'm sure all of you know it's a bitch to get back out of. Just the Prospect of being 1 league away from MK Dons must spurr them on a little bit? I can't wait to see that match ;-)

Re: Buckle

I think that he has done well in his times, the ups and downs have come but if you think really, he didn't do too bad with what he was given. Now we just have to build the team up again, I'm sure the backroom staff and a few of the players will go with him. Hopefully Trollope could give us a new lease of life, as a tactical genius is what Buckle really lacked.

However, fair play to the lad, I wish him good luck at wherever he goes, it's clear he's not staying or else he would have made this apparent in the post-pre match interviews.
