Buckle looked very comfortable sat there tonight, laughing and joking with certain members of our board!!

Rumour sweeping the ground tonight was that Buckle could be ready to offer him a deal! Heard we had offered him a one year contract and he wanted time to consider it. Maybe he is holding out to see what other offers he gets!

We already have one his name is Mark Ellis

Born in West Ham i believe.

He seemed to hint at a player/assistant manager! Wonder who??

Maybe Hargreaves as his number 2? Knows the club and players inside out?

Well the board have really gone and messed things up if this is true!! Cheap appointment if you ask me!!!!

The whole reason we won't have Branston next year is because of the snake that is Buckle!! Buckle knew what he was up to in January when we could of tied up a new deal for Branno!

From what I know about Barraclough I believe he was assistant at scunny for a few years before getting the top job! They already looked doomed when he took over, so reckon he's worth another crack. Young manager played all through the lower leagues sounds like buckle when he joined. Wouldn't be to disappointed with Barraclough!

Can we now assume that the shortlist the Herald Express printed earlier on in the week was pretty wrong? More names seem to keep appearing that wasn't on that list! Seems to me they are guessing just as much as everyone else!

I think Hargreaves is nailed on certain to get the job, just have a funny feeling that the board will go for the cheap option like we always seem to. Would love it to be Hughes just think it would be like a breath of fresh air!

In tonight's HE it's says Beven, Branston and Stevens all to be offered new deals! Hope this is true not to fussed about Stevens but think we need to keep the spine of the team in place.
