I think the real snowflakes are those people who are so angered by a silent display of anti discrimination that they couldn't cheer a single goal and will never go to Plainmoor again!davethegull2 wrote: ↑23 Mar 2022, 11:01 Would you like a little hurty place for you to blub in snowflake? There are NO racist comments or any support for racism in any of the above comments. Just the opposite. Which just goes to prove how ridiculous taking the knee is when it provokes perverse reactions like this.

Brilliant performance last night. Must remember to login and rant about the anti-rascism gesture. Ffs.

Attendance against Eastbourne?
5,386 in the ground for play off semi final against Scarbrough, I remember being packed in the middle of the popular side and my feet didn't even touch the floor when we scored. An amazing match, amazing atmosphere, but the play off final against Colchester was horrible.

TUFC Fans Banned?
I do worry for this over-sanitised version of football that many of you seem to crave. Sadly I couldn't be there on Saturday but the atmosphere sounded immense and it must have been wonderful to be in the away stand when Wynter's equaliser flew in. This is football, not the theatre, and the atmosphere is a big part of what made us all fall in love with the sport.

The annoying thing is they aren't really Torquay fans are they? You don't see them at home games but they jump on the band wagon of big away trips, get boozed up and act like idiots. Whilst this sort of thing is worrying for the club's reputation we need to be mindful that 99% of support is excellent and celebrate that.dennisk wrote: ↑19 Jan 2019, 18:08 On my way back from match, which we threw away. I am concerned about the behaviour of some so called fans. Hopefully there will be no fines or worse. Poor performance, but the winning streak had to end some time. We must bounce back with 3 points and a few goals next week. GJ will not be a happy man tonight.

A banda for me. Tradition counts for a lot.
Children still gets played, I'm led to believe, but you have to be in the ground early. I prefer to finish my pint at 14:55 and stroll in then so never hear it.

Jesus Christ I used to think the label "kiddies site" was harsh but it's all in full bloody swing tonight isn't it?
Judging by the time of the posts half of the commentators weren't even at the game.

And that a "professional" football club would still sign said player on a two year contract!

I'm more concerned that they might have an option to send the fraud back to us before a month is up.

Whoever gave him a 2 year contract with no relegation release clause should be hung up outside Plainmoor swimming pool for passers by to throw things at.

You're probably thinking of Morike Sako and the goal was a cracker against a Bristol club...Rovers.
Wiki gives him as 6 foot 7!!!

Pittman has to go down as one of the worst pieces of recruitment in the clubs history. Announcing he is going to be somewhere else next season would boost season ticket sales massively.tufcyellowarmy wrote: ↑06 Jun 2018, 17:35 Why on earth would he want Pitman to stay ? I can understand Gowling to some degree but Pitman played literally no football for us since he’s been at the club. If it’s a fitness issue then it will still be an issue next season .
Let Pitman move on whenever he can I say..
I dread to think what his £ per minute contribution was for us.
