Happy the poppy will be there, but cant understand the difference between having a poppy on a black arm than a shirt.......Fifa = old mans club

And he is buying or leasing the club form Heaney who apparently tried to buy the club in his Russian girlfriends name earlier in the year.
Its astonishing that Peter Reid hasn't buggered off by now.
I've always had a soft spot for Plymouth though. Can't stomach the club or their inbred supporters and I would happily see them liquidated.

Bit of a harsh post there Brucie....Surely you know what happens first hand when a prat is able to take control of a club and almost destory it....Chris Roberts rings a bell. I

It'll never happen of course. In fact, there is not a single recorded example in the history of the earth to back up this radical suggestion, but hey, a fella can dream.

Suspect from his post Brucie will disagree and have no first hand life expericence of bettering ones self...let me help you Bruice :slap:

brucie wrote:Hector is completely right. Had Rice or Mcphee signed for Plymouth everyone on here would have been pissing themselves, yet everyone now tries to justify their signings by stating that the players have improved.
Players that normally end up at Truro from Torquay (such as Adams,Hockley and Hodges) do so for a reason ie they are past the sell by date as football league players. How many of these players then go back to a football league club?
Anyone who saw Rice play in goal when he was here before must have a very short memory if they want him back.

How can you justify breaking the budget for a second string goalkeeper who is hardly going to play a game????

What difference does it make if we have Rice as backup or some unknown 18 year old who has never played first team football ?

On last nights evidence Mcphee looked like he had never been away - he was useless.

Clearly you can not as you need good old torquay to supply you with players.....Manager.....coach.....

Guess you should just pipe down as your just a feeder club to the City....Oh wait your not even good enough for that

Re: Ambition (again)

At the end of day when supporting Torquay united you have to be realistic. Theres going to be plently of ups and plenty of downs some days look good
others look bad, but that is what you get in supporting a league two club. Which to me is the best bit
