and thats a big one.Sesimbra wrote:York Plymouth and Aldershot do not have to play each other. Plymouth & Aldershot have a game in hand. Only York could end up lower than Torquay if all win.
Record number of points to get relegated with?

I agree it is a big IF. I was only making the point that avoiding relegation, at this moment, is no longer in Torquay's hands. Hopefully that will change at the weekend.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

You're wrong there Sesimbra. If we win all of our games we are guaranteed survival.Sesimbra wrote:Following United's defeat against Bradford it may have escaped many minds that avoiding relegation is now out of Torquay's hands. If they win all their remaining games they can still be relegated.
In your calculations you failed to take into account that one of those wins would be against Barnet.
We are not likely to win any now Joss has gone though.

I stand corrected Jerry. I had excluded Barnet in my calculations. Still pretty hairy though especially as Barnet are unbeaten in 4 games.

We were unbeaten in four games recently, and then lost..
