Went to that Relegation decider, all them years ago, 3-0 up and pegged back to 3-2 - although with our goal difference at the time Barnet would have had to get another 2 goals.standupsitdown wrote:Beaten Barnet 3.2 in relegation decider (almost) - AGAIN!!!!!
And Aldershot lost!
Well done to the lads tonight and the Yellow Army. Not wanted to know any scores tonight - it's getting very tense now.
Let's hope we crack on and get a win at Morecambe on Saturday.
My prediction (on the Forum) a few weeks back was that we would get 53 points and that Barnet and Aldershot would get relegated - still on!!

Wow, we never do things the easy way do we? Great result but still a lot to be done. Win on Saturday and we could be safe but a defeat could put us right back in it. Morecambe have nothing to play for so lets get at them and secure our safety.
Enjoy tonight guys and gals, it's been fun (not!!)

Na, na na, NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, TORQUAY!
Some how glad I could not go to the game tonight, think I would have had a heart attack. Now a win at morecambe and that should do it..COYY

And breathe! What a traumatic experience...looking forward to doing it all again on Saturday! How did the other results go? What's the table look like? I don't think I can endure waiting for the Player tables to update!

Andy
Just for you from the bbc website
Barnet equalised when Jake Hyde beat the offside trap to head home before Billy Bodin lashed in a strike from the edge of the box
Lashed it in yes Lashed it in from the edge of the box!!!!!
Personally I think we should get a photo of you handing your £10 cheque over to Billy for him to donate to a charity of his choice!!!!!
This obviously depends on your wagerer accepting this
I bet humble pie has never tasted so sweet

Brilliant result, well done Yellows! Fair to say I didn't see that one coming. One more now, at least we've given ourselves a chance. Aldershot went tonight I think.

Now I know why I took such a journey on Saturday for what turned out to be a thrilling game. (Ahem, unless you were listening on Gullsplayer). Well relieved, we can all relax a bit and look forward to Morecambe

Great to see every Member on site and commenting. We are all together and 'over the moon' BUT still work to do even though Aldershot may be out of it now. No in fighting needed and I will apologise for 'lack of belief' when and if we get over the line' I'm sure that Andy will as well !!...Will be great to get to the last game needing only a point without hoping for other results...COLEY
