Trying to look at this in an unbiased way: goalscorers are like gold dust so like it or not a 16 goal return is going to be an attraction for many clubs.
On the other hand a booking, on average, every three games plus, for whomever he plays, he will miss the first two matches of next season as part of his three match ban could put a number off.
Neither of these two senarios are a foregone conclusion and aren't we supposed to be in contract talks with Rene?
In 'normal' circumstances a 16 goalscorer would be worth a reasonable transfer fee to the selling club.

I am a big fan of Rene's and I think that in a better team he can easily get 20 goals. No-one can convince me that someone like Tom Pope, who averages about 5 goals a season, is better than Rene, and he has won League 2 player of the season.

A lot of his work is not valued or appreciated and you only have to look at the last two games to see his influence: setting up Bodin for the crucial second and then using his strength to flick the ball to Yeoman for his goal at Morecambe. Important player and we will miss him on Saturday.

Morris and Craig pointless, there goes any credibility you may have had J5. Easton can go (nothing against him, but he won't get in the side next year), but Morro and NC will both be worth a pretty penny a while from now.

Glad I didn't see this last night; I may have cried myself to sleep. The credibility attributed to me by a person like yourself is of paramount importance.

Morris is a crock, and was lightweight and ineffective when fit. Those two adjectives befit your beloved NC as well. Just like Ling and Knill, I don't see the point in waiting all afternoon for one decent cross or pass from him, when his snail-like pace and inability to tackle detract considerably from our defensive solidity.
