Note the article leads with THE FIRST PRIORITY PERIOD.
There'll be other opportunities to get an "early bird"?
Would you purchase now without knowing who the new manager will be?
Would you purchase now without knowing who's going/staying from the playing staff?
Of course, there will be some diehards who have already purchased. They probably vote for the same Polictical Party at Election time.

The "first priority period" is for people who want to retain the same seat as in previous seasons. The earlybird offer runs until 17th May.
And yes I've already got mine, because I support Torquay United, my support isn't dependent on whether certain players/coaches are at the club or not.

The Club will probably make an announcement at 15.55 so that incumbent season ticket holders make a mad dash to retain their seats before the 16.00 deadline.....or not..... It's still not dull, even if there's no footie for a few weeks!

well said jerry, you support the club, not who is manager, are you going to stop watching because of who is in charge, you support through thick and thin!
Well, I guess the thick will always support their habit even when the funds are thin. Expect this from those who continually whine on about their loyalty : their imminent departure.
The next early bird expiry date is Friday 17th May.

The sacking of Ling and the release of dead wood from dodge (hard training with enthusiasm) will be the signal for a few more to renew/purchase their season tickets. Some will risk the gamble and see if any further extensions are made to the expiry date. Some might wait until signings are secured. Some might even wait until all pre-season games are concluded to see how the team shapes up. By that time the early bird offers will be well past their sell by date.
Watching/supporting TUFC involves more than the couple of hours a week/fortnight. So does attention to more important priorities. I won't knock anyone who doesn't get to support their team when there are more urgent matters.
TUFC fits into a life, not the life exists to fit TUFC. What time as a paying customer I have for TUFC next season depends on sorting priorities in the order of most need.
Purchase of a season ticket depends on more than being thick and loyal. At this precise moment in time, I don't know how many games (if any) I'll watch next season. It might be all of them and as a season ticket holder.

What part of thick/thin has been misunderstood/misinterpreted ?
Thick and thin are not to be confused with thick and skin.
What does Rhino Neal conjure up ?
An American actor ?
A thick skin called Neal ?
A rhino called called thick skinned ?
A Leeds rugby league player/supporter called Rhino/Neal ?
Thick, thick, thin and skin.
Never argue with an idiot.

No idea if this is a further insult, an apology or something else entirely as I don't understand a word of it.Trojan 67 wrote:What part of thick/thin has been misunderstood/misinterpreted ?

I'm thick and i've bought one. My first ever and i live 250 miles away! Now THAT is thick!!!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
No Austrian, that is magnificent, well done. Did you go to that great seat of learning at Tweenaway as well.
