I'm thinking of buying the shirt and colouring the white stripes with a blue felt-tip pen. 8-] :-D

I'm getting mine with Aggrey 7 on the back. Either that or Torquay Knill Opponents Lots, might cost a few quid though.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

(8) "magnolia army - alan knills primose army - come on you yellow (lemon) and whites -
come on you magnolias" (8)

none of these quite have their original counterparts usual effect do they.

do we know yet if the yellow stripes are going to be tweaked and made a bit darker?

do we know yet what the socks and shorts are going to be?
You are my torquay, my only torquay, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know, just, how much i love you, so don't take my torquay away.

These sports companies. Do they really think they can just take a design, produce any old piece of sh*t, which is glossy, and has some stuck on sticker which is meant to be an emblem, and get away with it? If they do know that they can get away with it, because our club agreed to a budget option, why the f*ck are the club allowing such a poor product to be produced!??

Shirts are worn around town, they are effectively walking advertising boards for the club. Kids will opt for a f*cking Man U shirt for Xmas, because even they at 6 years old, would be embarrassed to turn up to school in this tacky piece of crap. They won't want to support Torquay when they inevitably get teased for wearing the TUFC shirt that their dads forced upon them in a moment of panic at the thought of his son growing up to join the ranks of the armchair sky sports generations....

Urgh, sort it out. I see Yeovil have just adopted Sondico too, god help them.

Oh, and yes, Port Vale have been supporting a sondico classic collar this season, so WHERE THE F*CK IS OURS!?? The design was flipping lovely. Rant oveeeeeeer.
oh, do shut up.

It's a classic rant Super, sit back and enjoy and appreciate the angst and desperation that is conveyed so vividly in smiffy's post.

He's right about the collar though, the shirt we voted for had one and the one we'll be buying won't. I personally like the collar as it is but it nullifies the vote as a credible mechanism for fan participation. If they are just going to do what they want anyway then what's the point in a fan vote?

Sondico are effectively Vandanel. Port Vale, us and Yeovil were all Vandanel before linking with Sondico and that is because it is the same company. Our association with them goes back ten years as it was the start of the 2003/4 promotion season that we first sported Vandanel kits.

I will probably buy the home shirt, because I always do, even though I feel like I have already bought it twice with the 91 and 2000 versions.

Agreed Hector, but it is a classic. Needs darker yellow and thin blue/black outlines on the stripes though.

And as an aside to Mr Candy or any other club officials that may read this; if you again blithely sign off on a shirt which features an humiliating grammatical error, you will do TUFC a colossal disservice.

It's just a mediocre effort at producing a professional football shirt. The design was lovely, so it's a real shame. Many will agree, some won't. I doubt anyone prefers the new version.

Interesting about Vandanel/Sondico ^^^, makes sense.
You dont have to apologise smiffy!

i do agree with that bit though mate! =D
