First team v Fans XI PSF.
What it says on the tin.
Would you play?
Would you watch?
Would you buy tea and beer and pies to make it profitable to the club?
Matt.

Sounds a great idea but my only worry would be a fan getting a little carried away a flying in with a hospital challenge which rules a key member of our squad out for important games!

Thanks Royal, positive as always. There would be vetting and what not performed before anyone was allowed on the pitch. Clear PSF style play would be what was expected. This is a testimonial, not the FA Cup final. Anyone diving in would be summarily dismissed, banned by the club, arrested etc (well, maybe). I'm not sure any of our fans are that stupid, are they?

Didn't they do a charity thing a few years ago where there were 4 teams with a mix of pro's and ams in each?

Can i be the manager of the fans team?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I'd travel down to play, I can play with both feet, not much pace anymore but can score a few against Downes I reckon

You wanna be careful Rivo, we have CCTV and decency laws, 'scoring' at Plainmoor is hardly the epitome of class and discretion.
