I agree with you mate, believe me. I stringently disagree with EU-imposed revolving door immigration, and would vote us out of Europe if we get the chance.

I'm "ENGLISH" and proud. I'm not British....I'm English. Part of the reason I left England was because we have lost our sovereignty. I'm no EDL but our country is in big trouble. It's sad but true.

I'd much rather live in a community of honest law-abiding muslims than a community of naïve, ignorant, opinionated and reactionary British people who makes statements such as ''send them back'' and promote further discrimination. This country is not in turmoil because of one brutal event involving 2 muslims and one poor Englishman, this country is weakened because of the insular and narrow-minded opinions of many who reside here.
Discriminating against Muslims and creating barriers between nations and religions based upon cultural differences would be hypocritical to say the least, as well as providing the animosity that the perpetrators desired. Anyone waving the Union Jack in relation to this incident should be asking the country to show integrity and to rise above such actions.
An eye for an eye - leaves the whole world blind.
I am more than happy to have people from all over come to the Uk and live like we do and some do but a lot don't.

The "send 'em back" attitude is exactly what the terrorists what. Their aim is to create discord between communities and set us at each others throats. Let's hope the British people can show they are better then that.

Wise words which in no way detract from the sense of outrage we all feel about this incident.
This country had pig headed EDL, it also has many people like this:
There is a large portion of the muslim community who want sharia law in this country.
My point is, the hatred is being stirred from both sides of the coin, it is a bit naive to just blame the EDL.
The EDL's response to yesterday was to stretch police resources in Woolwich, throw bottles at police and throw bricks through mosque windows. They offer absolutely nothing positive to society.
Some of the comments on social media yesterday made me weep for humanity.

Totaly agree Parry, I have no time for the EDL or BNP or any other neo-nazi racist scumbag group, but none of this 100% their fault is it. Who blew a night club in Bali, who blew a train station in Madrid, who flew planes into the twin towers, who blew up tube stations in London, who drove a car into an unarmed man leaving him with no hope of defending himself wasn't the EDL was it.
Don't just love the do gooding looney lefties, human rights, who is going to stand up for the human rights of the bloke who got hacked to death in broad daylight, the ruined lives of his family, and the people who witnessed that, who may never get over what they saw.
Dissaffected, dissaffected about what excatly, muslims fall ill they have accsess to some of the best medical care in the world, they fall on hard times they have accsess to benefits and social housing and care they would not get anywhere else, rasict pigs like the EDL turn to attack their way of life the Police will come and protect them, oh god isn't life so F'''''' hard for these poor people, who have no other choice but to live in this god damn awful country of ours.
Lets not start pointing the finger at groups like the EDL and forget a minority of muslims who have done a fair bit of pushing of their own.
It really is an almost impossible situation to resolve and prevent from happening time after time.
You cannot blame a religion or a race for what has happened. These people are a small narrow minded minority who IMO do not deserve to walk the earth whether that be in England or Outer Mongolia they bring absolutely nothing positive to the world. The hardest thing is how do you distinguish between an extremist and a normal muslim wishing to live here in peace. Can only be done when its too late after the carry out actions such as yesterday.
However I do feel this country has lost any backbone or pride that it once had. I have no issue with people of any race or religion living in this country as long as they abide by our rules. Dont like seeing the St Georges flag flying, fine, clear off!! We should not change to suit people who have come to this country as they country isnt good enough!!
We are too soft for our own good and until that changes things like this will continue to happen!!

I don't think you can call these people Muslims really,
They are extremists and worryingly sounded British, it's time to crack down on this home grown extremist culture
Try to see beyond the BBC portrayal of events, this is a psyop, designed to create more tension, fear and division amongst the people of this country. It will also be used to justify the introduction of new draconian laws in the near future, as has already been done over the last 12 years since 911.
You may say now that if you've nothing to hide then you've nothing to fear, but that is exactly what the people of Germany said during the 1930's. also, these type of events were common in those years as a way to divide the population and programme them what to believe.
All I'm saying is, research and think outside the box, don't believe all you see and hear on the BBC news or any other mainstream news channel, although Russia today can be a lot more informative.

Exactly right Gulliball. I watched BBC News24 last night and plenty of muslim spokesmen came into the newsroom to discuss the situation, as did their'Community Leaders'. In fact on all the news bulletins this morning after the initial report of the killing, a statement from a prominent british muslim organisation is read out giving their view on the situation. I wonder why the EDL don't just behave similarly and make a spokeman available to give their views to the media, or issue a statement to the BBC for broadcast, rather than going out onto the streets throwing bottles ?
