Experience is what we need; this (Tonge) would be a good signing.

Godfather, are you also called Rivo_7?

If not, Kieffer Moore has doubled his fanbase!

Sorry, Dutch, I'm signing up for an annual subscription to the Dorset Echo as we speak, in order to avoid this sort of embarrassing situation occurring again.

Thanks for the link/info GF.

he sounds alright, that Kieffer fella. Not got so many goals as to suggest he might be taking the piss (think Ross Hannah), but enough that he clearly knows there the net is. Get him in, can't hurt for the sake of bus fare home.

Almost certainly missed the boat with him ... shame as he is actually a Torquay lad and was only playing South Devon League a couple of seasons back. I don't know how he slipped the net when he was younger but probably our best chance of signing him was when he was banging them in for cash strapped Truro last season, before he got the move to Dorchester, who would no doubt want quite a decent wedge of money for him now.

Moore is currently on trial with Yeovil in the Championship .... still can't quite believe they will be playing at that level next season!

they're back for pre season today, so assuming that knill will be on the training pitch, we probably won't see any transfer activity for yet another day!

Ouch! Now that is a kick in the teeth ... didn't see that one coming. Did we let the "cat out of the bag" too early and alert Gary Johnson to the situation by going to the media with our intentions to trial him earlier in the week, I wonder? He was the one player(amongst the known trialists) that I had the greatest hopes for. Of course, it doesn't necessarily mean he will sign for them, after all Downesy trialled there before signing for us last summer, but whether Knill will feel sufficiently let down to want to offer him anything now, would be open to conjecture!
