Welcome to TUFC and this forum Mrs Cameron. Really pleased young Courtney has signed for us, I hope he enjoys his time here. We may be a small club, but we have a big heart and (in my opinion) your son couldn't have joined a better club!jackie26666 wrote:so pleased courtney is our son hes so excited

Welcome to the board! We're delighted he's chosen to come here. Hopefully he can help us, and our club can be a stepping stone onto bigger things for him!jackie26666 wrote:so pleased courtney is our son hes so excited

TORQUAY UNITED PRESS RELEASE
Monday, July , 2013
DOUBLE SIGNING
TORQUAY United can now confirm that manager Alan Knill has completed the double signing of wingers Jordan Chapell and Courtney Cameron.
Chapell comes to Plainmoor from Sheffield United after impressing in a brief loan spell with the Gulls toward the end of last season.
He is joined in the growing Yellow ranks by Cameron, who is a free agent after his release from Aston Villa. The speedy Cameron, 20, spent a chunk of last season on loan at Rotherham.
The pair have both been given two-year deals, as Knill now turns his attention to bolstering our striker options.

The defence needs to be at the forefront of Knills mind because unless Brian is coming back, if Aaron gets injured pre-season then we are totally screwed as it stands.
On a positive, i'm sure he knows this and also i'd like to say welcome to the club to both Courtney and Jordan.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
I'm sure he has got plans in all areas of the team where we need players. Just as people were worried about attacking option, they will worry about the defence but I am sure it will be sorted.

In terms of defence we only need one centre half in. We get a big strong one we will be fine. With the young lads as cover it will be sufficient. It is a worry that if anyone gets injured then we are in trouble. But it seems Knill is going for the strongest 11 he can get, and hope for injuries to be at a minimum. We can always use the loan market to supplement any injuries.
I am more interested which strikers we bring in! This will be a big defining point for us I feel.

Great news, four solid signings made so far. Have no idea what's going on with the Rene situation, perhaps another striker needed? Defence needs sorting out also, but I'm sure it will be.
