Test Cricket or eating my own body weight in celery?

Fridge it is then..................
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Golf is manageable if either:

A] I'm ill and there's nowt on't telly
B] I've had a bet on it

Test Cricket is mindnumbing. The 20/2o stuff is great and I occasionally can watch bits of the usual county stuff but test cricket?!!! Is there another sport where two teams can play all day for 4 or 5 days and end up f*cking drawing?!!! Mental.

Gazza has been arrested about a couple of assaults at Stevenage railway station I've just heard. Time is time now for this ridiculous imbecile. How many f*cking chances does he need?!! There are people out there battling hard and making a real fist of their lives without the support he has had and although they may lapse on occasion, Gazza has proved that he doesn't care about being alive. Lock him in a cell cold turkey for a year and he'll either go one way or the other. He has a choice then whether to stick or bust. Total loser.

I love all forms of cricket.

To be honest, many of the players nowadays play so much of the shorter form of the game that test cricket is treated by some in the same vein. The first test last week in the ashes was tense, edge of your seat stuff everyday, and this current second test at Lords is similar. Great individual battles going on at the moment.
I'm loving the fact that the Aussies are struggling. Great stuff!!

Test cricket is the pinnacle for any player. Lost technique through playing shorter formats is always exposed in the test arena. People who don't like test matches just can't appreciate the skill and tactics employed.

Schweppes are robbing ****.

"CLAIM YOUR FREE JUG" they cry.

"FREE JUG" they scream.

You put in your details having purchased three bottles of Tonic Water. You go through all the rigmarole of claiming your FREE jug and then, only then, do they ask you for your payment details for £1.40 to cover post and packing.

Either it's free, or it's £1.40, it can't be both.

Matt.

If I was a lawyer for Schwepps, my argument would be that the jug is free, however the postal service refuse to allow them to deliver said free jug to you for free and, therefore, the free jug costs money to deliver.

So, in short, it's the postal service you should have beef with. Schwepps have provided you with a free jug, however the postal service are refusing to give it to you for free.

Isn't this the Royal couple who are meant to have the "common touch" and changing the way we perceive the monarchy?
