Come on Teeboo - in the past, as I recall, you were actually naming players signing and, I must admit, it was very impressive. If you can't divulge the name (or names) this time, at least give us a good clue. Anything further on a striker yet?

I'm not allowed to kiss and tell on this matter, but the person in question would be fantastic and fits the mould of what I'd want from a centre half to partner Downes.

Sit back, put on a brew, and see what AK can do...

In this case I'd much rather the name wasn't said until it is official really, like I say though it would be a very good signing for us. Hoping to hear something soon!

I have been told in confidence for this reason. If the club wanted it in the media they would have made it so. The worry is we may alert others.

bang on comments i do know who it is believe me when i say that however i would not want to alert others to that fact if this fella signs i will do a dance naked if need be this chap would be a cracking signing i am only having a bit of light hearted fun with you all but people will recall my record is very good when it comes to getting signings correct and i reckon i know the forward as well so ile chuck up some clues on that 1 later

Not much to go on then! A 6 foot 2 inch brute of a centre half that all those "in the know" would seem to be delighted with if he signed for us! Given the names that have already been ruled out I am struggling to come up with anyone! I wonder, does he only pretend to be a centre half?
