I was at the match last night with a mate attendance 361!
In the first half Thompson showed real pace and with better finishing could have scored a hat trick. Like so many wingers his big problem is a lack of consistency but he can be devastating and I hope he gets his opportunity this season.
I have always liked Craig and his goal was a terrific strike.
I don't pay much attention to last night as the team on August 3rd will be completely different.
I think Alan Knill knows that his squad is incomplete and it certainly showed from his body language and his communication with Chris Brass.
Cameron did not have a good game but showed some real quality as did Chapell and I have high hopes that these two could become real stars at Plainmoor.
As many posters have said we are probably 3 short and the 3 signings really need to be the right ones if we are to have a top 12 finish.

There aren't many on the pfa website that I would seem to be brutes. Darren Purse is the only one really that I know and he is a bit past it. Certainly wouldn't get my juices flowing.
I wish someone would just bleddy say, this ' in the know' bollocks doors my nut in.

Ingimarsson?
Think he retired and went home to Iceland, maybe wrong.OhJimmyJimmy wrote:Ingimarsson?
He's not been at a club for 18 months so I guess he's retired. Shame, I would have like to see him back before he left, would have been a nice book-end to his careerWarwick wrote: Think he retired and went home to Iceland, maybe wrong.
On the bbc website it's showing that we beat WsM 1-0 on the 23rd, did a game take place?

No it got cancelled according to Weston's website as they found out we were only sending the Youth team. They thought we were sending a mixture.monkeyboy wrote:On the bbc website it's showing that we beat WsM 1-0 on the 23rd, did a game take place?
