Yep - and all it cost us is a big pair of dangly garish earrings and an open account at Primark for nasty oversized blouses!

It is a loooooooooooong journey down from Nottingham. I think he set off a fortnight ago.

Des O'Connor? He played for the Cobblers, maybe Knill has enticed him out of retirement?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

There's a journalist who covers Notts County who tweeted earlier that Krystian Pearce set to sign today for us.

Herald online running the story now. Also another young CB/RB on trial tomorrow - Jack Deaman released by Birmingham. Sounds like Cooper might be out of the running now though. Too much budget to throw at a squad player I guess.

Pearce to sign and play tomorrow! According to the Torquay Herald.

We also have a 6ft 3 centre half on trial Jack Deaman.

Extremely happy with this, I just hope he signs it and its all done.
