Just me who thinks he looks like an angrier Spock? I'm chuffed with this, and with the fact that not many elsewhere in our little league are seeing us as contenders yet. I'd be happy with mid table, but with a good striker I wouldnt be too surprised to see us as a surprise package!

If I was an opposing striker I would not go near him!

Think he's an excellent signing and I agree with Knill, it's not so long ago he was talked about as a big money move for somoene from Notts. Obviously his career has hit a slight snag but he's still very young for a centre half and coming here where he's the big cheese and playing every game I can only see good things for him again. Could make us a lot of money, providing his contract doesn't just run down.

On the face of it an excellent signing to join the others. Please get us a striker then it's happy days.

Extremely pleased with this addition and welcome to Plainmoor KP!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Delighted this has now been officially confirmed. Actually think that, in terms of the here and now, he will turn out to be our best signing of the summer and that's not to say that I'm not delighted with all the others, just think that Pearce not only offers great potential to make us a few quid in the future but can also deliver here and now and is certainly more than capable of being a stand out performer playing at our level.

Regular games and a supportive Management team and who's to say he won't be back to the player he was (thought to be) a couple of years back when quite frankly the idea that we might have signed him would have been considered totally ludicrous.

Nice work, Alan.
