I know it's only the second game of the season, but balls to it, I'm asking anyway.

Are we really any better than last season?
Attacking, free flowing football is lovely but if the result is a loss then it's not that great really is it!?

all joking aside, its gonna be something we have to stick with, these things dont happen strait away if we're struggling after 10-12 games i'll be preparing my revolver ...

on the plus side, if we're still 1 down with 20 minutes or so to go - we have some good players on the bench like cameron thompson and yeoman who can come on a cause havoc and perhaps change a game, something we didnt really have untill late last season

stats not looking great only 1 shot on target, still only need a goal so needing a positive start to the second half and anything can happen

Not fishing for negativity. Asking a simple question....check my posts (there are a lot of them) I'm rarely negative.

There were lots of people delighted that Ling was given the boot and Knill was appointed in spite of a less than amazing "trial" at the back end of the season. I appreciate the team he had wasn't great and he did his best with what he had. My question was whether people thought we were actually that much better than last season.

The worry for me is that despite our brand new attacking policy we are not creating hardly anything - one shot in the first half. Its not great - and we havn't played anyone any good yet.
