Youth game v Cheltenham

Post by goldenblue »

I went along to the youth game against Cheltenham on Saturday to take a look at our future prospects. Unfortunately I did not have a team sheet so someone may be able to identify the players concerned. the game was pretty even until Torquay had a player sent off and Chelltenham went on to win the win match 3-0. However there were a couple of players that really stood out, one was the number 3 who's distribution was immense, he was putting 30 yard passes to the feet of his team mates, he also tackled and checked players with great assurance, he looked a real prospect. The other player who stood out was the number 5 a giant of a lad who never stopped shouting and organising the defence, is he the captain? he certainly showed maturirty and was not afraid to get stuck in at every opportunity. The attack looked a bit lightweight but overall not a bad team performance with a couple of stars for the future.

Reading the OS I'm guessing the players were Jamie Alexandrou and O’Neill Odofin.
