subs coming up, sullivan coming on i think?
still keeping the faith
Probably wouldn't make it worse but it is unlikely to happen.
Expect the same XI to take to the field at Rochdale!

Once again the central midfielders are blameless . . .

I know it takes time for a team to gel but this is worrying.
TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.

Bad day at the office! Write this one off and move on.
I've seen us 4 times this season and I'm not overly worried. Pearce and Tonge are getting better with each game, and I even think Harding just needs a few more games to get used to the way we play. Hawley and Ball just need a goal or two between them and we will start moving in the right direction.
I know I am probably going to get slated for the above, but I have genuinely seen more positives on the field this season than I did all of last.

Glass half full and lets get behind the team!!........and the manager!!

I agree with this, Fleetwood we always expected to win and we've seen in some games this season we can play well, just need a bit of luck in front of goal to get some results.cosmic74 wrote:Bad day at the office! Write this one off and move on.

You're not worried?
Tonge gets caught out of position just like Oastler did last year.
Nico offers nothing on the left, defensively or offensively
Mansell and Harding in the centre of midfield are poor. Mansell's penalty miss on Tuesday sums up where he is at the moment.
5 years ago if somebody had told me Rice would be one of our best players so far this season, I'd have called for an ambulance.

yes we aren't going to play Fleetwood every week, they are obviously one of the best teams but we have still been rubbish. the only good thing at the moment is the five teams below us are losing...........!!
And thats another thing, in my opinion. At the end of the day, if we'd lost this 4-0 but played well (as we did against Leicester last season, for example), I'd be okay with it. But so far this season, I've seen games against AFCW, Swindon, Oxford and Pompey and barring the 15 minute spell at Swindon, we have been so so soooo boring to watch.
I know it's early days but I wouldn't mind losing games as much if we played well, I'm sure others are the same.
Remember the Leroy days when we lost, yes it was disappointing but at least we'd have tried to play football the right way. At the moment I don't think Knill has settled on a certain tactic and we seem to be mixing different ones. Hopefully he will get one working soon as the start to this season has been a concern, not gonna lie.

Tongue is fine, we concede almost nothing down his side.Burnhamgull wrote:You're not worried?

Nico can be admirably replaced by Cruise
Harding's replacement is in the building.
Manse can be replaced by Lathrope
How is Rice playing well supposed to be worrying?
Will you lot behave. We're getting dealt with by a side who have spent well over £500,000 assembling a L2 squad. We're half a dozen games in. This is the first defeat we have deserved all season. We have improvements coming, we're not a million miles from being a decent side and the loan window opens tomorrow.
Matt.
