So out of 2000 and odd Torquay fans, some of which are forum members and after a really pleasing 4-2 win only 17 of you saw fit to proudly give credit to the 5 of our lads who put in the best performances yesterday. Well done the 17 I say and well done the lads.
I'll allow for the fact that there are some of the regular voters who maybe haven't got round to it yet but will do but that still makes it only a few more and a bit of a laugh really even when we get all the votes in. Apathy United.
In addition, if you also look at the number of voters from away games they aren't so far short of home game votes in terms of number so it begs the question, are our regular away fans a more passionate and involved bunch than the majority of the home crowd? Bearing in mind the number who voted for the Fleetwood game is close to the number who voted for the Hartlepool game when there were over 2000 gulls there and only a 100 or so at Fleetwood then i'd say I have a valid question to ask. Why?

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I'm sorry for raising this point again as I've touched upon it before but if you are a regular forum user and went to the game when why is it your choice to not participate in giving credit to the players in this way?
All it takes is one minute of your time and the good feeling inside that you have highlighted praise for the players who play for the team which I presume you love. I don't understand.

The only stats I can use to answer your question come from your demofraphics poll.AustrianAndyGull wrote:I'm sorry for raising this point again as I've touched upon it before but if you are a regular forum user and went to the game when why is it your choice to not participate in giving credit to the players in this way?

Out of 72 responses, 34, slightly less than half, come from The South West. Of those, several, myself included, live in the South West, but still 2 hours from Plainmoor. We also know that brucie, and I'm assuming others, couldn't, or didn't attend the match. 17 is 50% of 34.
So I would suggest this board is heavily frequented by exiles, or those like yourself and myself who dont, and never have lived in and around the bay, and are therefore not regular at home games.
Make of that what you will!!! Off to work now!!
