On the Shrewsbury Site, one of them is saying that Nicky Wroe has denied he has left Torquay on his facebook page - Can't view his status to confirm it

Latest facebook status from NW-'no traffic to report on the Babbacombe Rd matey' in return to Gritts' question about traffic on the m5. Maybe he is staying...

Cheeri-Wroe.
In all seriousness, again thanks and best wishes Nicky. Been a massive part of our team the last few years, one of them moves where i think it's a good move for all parties.
i really think Oastler and hopefully this new lad can step in.

This was almost just expecting to happen as much as benyon going before January but he came back into form and has since struggled again. I guessed he'd go after being subbed off not once but twice which I cannot remember during his time here. Good luck to him but on current form he's not a miss.

An excellent BSP player, who played a big part in getting us back into the football league. We owe a great deal of gratitude to all of those players who turned us into a football league club again.
That said, a move now is good for all parties, because he hasn't been the same player since we got promoted. We've made him captain, replaced him as captain, dropped him, recalled him... and nothing has worked in the long term form wise. He's got a decent reputation at other clubs (helped a lot by his penalty aided goal return last season I think), and we've been able to get a fee for him now (and a replacement in Craig Stanley) instead of him leaving at the end of the season.
Thanks Nicky and good luck at Shrewsbury.

With this development it will be interesting to see who gets the nr 11 jersey next season. And of course the Norway Gulls as his sponsor
