Well somebody has to have the drive on behalf of the team. Currently we have Alan Knill.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
Let's hope he can steer us around that mythical corner we're supposed to be about to turn .......AustrianAndyGull wrote:Well somebody has to have the drive on behalf of the team. Currently we have Alan Knill.

Absolutely Tomo, at the moment I feel like he's driving the Playbus! Anyone who has seen the opening credits on there will know what I mean.
Basically it's a kids show and the opening sequence shows a pair of hands driving a multi coloured bus straight down a road but the drivers hands are turning the steering wheel side to side whilst the bus is meant to be going straight! Bit like Knill's management methods!
We could be going straight but constant arsing around with the team for no apparent reason means we are veering from side to side.
God i'm babbling but it makes sense to me!

Bury to win 1-0. I am wary that Knill will get Torquay fired up for the game but I think home advantage will help us get the 3 points. Btw, we have won 3 games this season not 2 (Accrington at home 3-0) as stated on your homepage. Should be a good atmosphere with Knill back at Gigg Lane. Safe journey to those travelling up.

No just dropped he's not a happy manScott Brehaut wrote:Is Pearce injured?
If McCourt has a decent game, that could be a winning side. Benyon will be keen to stake a claim.supergulls wrote:Team for today is

Perhaps last night's San Miguel is still tainting my judgment, but I am getting on us at 10/3. Treble with Eng to smash the paddies at rugby league and Man City to have Norwich on toast.
"Also, stands aren't sentient."
I bet Pearce is not happy, based on what I have seen and last week's reviews. I hope that decision doesn't backfire.
Hawley - am a little surprised but there is more to base this choice on, ie goal return or lack thereof.
Have a good feeling about today. Well done and enjoy to all yellows making the trip to Lancs. Had hoped to get there myself, but a forgotten family birthday got in the way. Will be there in spirit!

Excited for today, this will be the new dawn
Hope we are not rushing Downes back to quickly. Is Pearce on bench as cover for AD?
No shock for Hawley.
Given a start Benners will commit 150% to the cause today
Hope they don't have too much pace on the right flank

Excellent bench IMO, plenty of options for Knill to make best use of the subs!!
