Completely agree. Knill has failed badly, he has to go before he does any more damage. We are going down a very big plug hole, I feel ashamed that I gave this man my support earlier in the season.

I think Knill has had a fair crack of the whip until now and it's time for him to take responsibility for what is happening and sort it out. Again, not only are the results bad but the standard of football and general effort is consistently appalling and that is unacceptable. I think most of us could forgive where we are if we were competing with teams and being unlucky most weeks but we are just looking like dying flowers more and more each passing week.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Also one not to jump to a quick conclusion but for all i am concerned i would just get rid of him now no matter the cost, I don't care what positives can be thrown out we are bottom of the league, behind accy!! I agree completely knill out! also would love to see hargreaves in as someone stated above

firstly i would like to say i thought he would turn things around but now after watching today i think we do need a change, if the club do make the change i would like to see leroy back or tarzan as 2nd choice, today has to be nearly as bad as last week and i dont see where we are going to get a win from, and i cant even see us getting anything from plymouth which is saying something considering how bad they have been. sorry ak and cb i was hoping after you saved us you would take us forward but i dont see it now, if we dont get 4 points from the next two games then i think it will have to be a change of manager,

I said chris Hargreaves but maybe we start another thread on potential replacements ?
The board should be strong and act tonight

I said all along before we appointed AK as permanent manager, that we should of advertised the Manager`s post in a proper professional manner. Instead of going down the easy route of appointing Knill just because he saved us last season. It would of given us more options, and if Knill was the best of the lot then fair enough.
The directors/chairwoman must of had tunnel vision !!
However he was appointed, wouldn`t of been my choice, but ive always got behind the team and manager.....until today !!!...Sorry he has to go. No i didnt shout abuse or boo....infact i couldnt, as i was dumbstruck for the shear pathetic excuse for a football team that we currently have. Yet again i have left Plainmoor shaking my head in disbelief of what ive witnessed.
Yes the players need to take the blame, but altimately the buck stops with the manager.
TIME IS UP !!

That's the thing, do the club sack Alan Knill or don't they, a very difficult decision, we all know the club hasn't got the money to sack him, but as discussed with Bengull and a few others, can the club afford not to, the Rochdale performance was bad, but prepared to forgive it. We can't be that bad again surely, well sadly after a bright opening, we were, truly, truly awful.
I am at the point now where I agree, the signs that the team is going backwards are there for all to see, I could, right now put together a massive post full f'ing this that and the other to describe how I am feeling right now, however what's the point, and where does it get you.
Right now, I don't want or need any posts telling us, it's only a game, there will always be a Torquay, our hearts and minds should be with the people of the Philippines and our brave fighting men and women and not over reacting about football, our hearts and minds are with them, however at the end of the day, knowing we gave our thoughts, prayers and money to support worthy causes, isn't going to make me or most feel any better if we go down, knowing there will be no way back this time, so yes feeling let down, angry. This is my club, our club, that was my team, our team, just watched 180 minutes in two weekends of the most gutless, poor, turgid, 1 shot on goal, rubbish football I've witnessed in along time, think I, we have every right to feel bit pissed off right now.
There have been rumours flying about regarding dressing room un rest, well today I saw plenty of evidence of players, shat scared to express themselves, shat scared to move out of positions they have in no doubt been told to take up, devoid of confidence, body language of a beaten team the moment the first goal went in.
I see a manager who doesn't seem to know what to do to chase a game, his plan 'B' seems to be stick with game plan at all costs and if doesn't work pick three players and change for another three and hope for the best, said to mate after 60 minutes, I would rather see us change this to 3-4-3 have a go, a real go and lose 0.4 trying to effect change, than what we did see.
I see a manager hell bent on messing around with loan players no better than what we already have/had, please send back Azeez and McCourt nothing against these lads, if Mozika were a horse, princess Anne would have shot and a consumed him for her dinner, stop wasting there time, our time and our clubs money, at the very least bring back Yoeman, and go out a fetch in a creative midfielder with the money saved.
Alan Knill may not be answer, but I am going to pretend Martin Ling was either, in fact he wasn't, unfortunately for the club, Alan Knill was in the right place at the right time, that may well have been a slice of bad luck.

Knill didn't save us. Our form wasn't that good last season under him. It's just two clubs were even worse. His entire managerial record is poor, bar 6 months at Bury. It was and is obvious that he is simply a poor manager. Let him go and manage someone like Droylesden - more his level.vinny wrote:I said all along before we appointed AK as permanent manager, that we should of advertised the Manager`s post in a proper professional manner. Yes i know, but i guess i was being kind to him.....too kind !!
One question, just how many games have we won since the turn of 2013 ??

EIGHT.
The game under Taylor at Exeter. 4 under Knill last season and then three this season.
In fact Alan Knill's poor record was better with someone else's team, than it is with his own. That should tell us all we need to know. He cannot organise or motivate a team. Poor, poor manager.
